I wanted to make clear that I have not read part 1 or part 2 of the series so my review is very limited I will say the narrator was quite good didn't read too fast or too slow and put a great amount emotion in her words if I had known that I was starting in the middle of a book I would not have committed to this review but it was a learning experience I know now that when the author says part of a series it could mean that the book is broken up into different part not that it's a series of Complete Books so from my limited personal perception I find the characters kind of whining maybe I would have a different attitude about the section I had read the previous two sections so I gave 2 Stars if I had read the other two sections maybe I would have rated it better or maybe I wouldn't have gotten to this section because I lost interest I will think the author for The Learning Experience this is giving me

okay let's start with the narrator maybe it's the type of book that makes me feel this way but the narrator did not engage my brain the narrator spoke clearly didn't read the book too fast but I found the narrator to be Bland I was very interested in hearing authors take on how to talk to your children but there was several times I had to go back And re listen because my brain had just disengaged now for the content of the book it is my opinion that going back and forth between the different stages of a child toddler elementary-age and teenager is very confusing I personally feel that these stages should be separated into different books or at least different chapters at times it was unclear to me which the writer was talking about but I did find Hearring what was going on in the child's head from their perspective very helpful the writer also gave more than one way of dealing with a situation which I also like I have not researched this author I don't know if this was their first crack at writing a book about kids or if the idea of the writer was to give an overview of how to talk to children but I think if the author would separate child and teenager this book would have been easier for me to understand from my perspective thank you for the opportunity and reviewing this book

the narrator of these books did really well I didn't have to rewind because he was reading fast or because his words were unclear as for the books i thoroughly enjoyed these books the only reason I did not give these books five stars is because my rule of thumb is the only books I give 5 stars to are books that I would reread over and over again or in my case listen to over and over again I'm not sure if the series meet that standard my feelings are kind of mix on that in this case I have to let this book series simmer in my imagination before I can answer that question

overall I enjoyed this book very much the narrator is getting much better I did not have to rewind a lot to understand details because he was reading so fast however I did not like how the author tied the end of the book off as a reader I would have been frustrated if he hadn't tied off the ends but I think that would have been a better choice to start the next book off with the ending of this book I like how the main characters sister's death was intertwined in the story I miss the female villain that's been in previous books that abducted the child in the last unless of course she's the woman that the sergeant detective Meet in the story which would be a truly Wicked way of entering her back in I will definitely be looking forward to reading the next installment of these characters

where did the love interest come from

the narrator is getting better at not reading too fast I love the plot I am still wondering what happened to the main character's sister I would like to hear more about her the author is getting better at describing the characters physically as well as personality wise I feel like the love interest was thrown in there and not developed into the story there was no warning in the previous book to suggest in a pending relationship between the two characters so far I really enjoy hearing about the female prostitute that keeps popping in as a secondary villain and I Joy the Native American aspects of the plot I well read this book again in a later date because you never get all the nuances of a book and the first read

I enjoy the overall story as I was reading this book I kept feeling I was reading this book out of sequence that there had to be a book that came before it I found that there was a short story written about the main character very well written short story which it answered some of the questions i had about this book but it did not answer all of them I wish there was another book I love the characters in this book but their backstories are foggy to me do you believe this author is on the right track and is going to develop into a incredible storyteller I will definitely be keeping my eye out for more of his books
