Historia
Trauma nurse Aly Cappellucci doesn’t need any more kinks. She likes the one she’s landed on just fine. To her, nothing could top the masked men she follows online. Unless one of those men was shirtless, heavily tattooed, and waiting for her in her bedroom. She dreams about being hunted by one in particular, of him chasing her down and doing deliciously dark things to her willing body. She never could have guessed that by sending one drunken text, those dreams would become her new reality.

Just Say Yes
Revisado: 10-21-24
Good level of suspense/action. The trigger topics are done really well and in a way that compliment the story without distracting from it. It’s a solid cat and mouse chase.

When I answered an ad for a caretaker at Saint Mark’s Sanctuary, I thought I’d be dusting chandeliers and polishing floors. I didn’t expect to be tricked into a curse, going into debt to a monster, and being forced to take a self-paced “let’s learn magic” course so I can fix a 2,000-year-old problem. And that monster? Not your ordinary, everyday beast. He has hooves, and horns, and fur on his legs. But you know where he doesn’t have fur? Yeah. There. Which is fine. Except he doesn’t wear pants.

I love the story. I love the narration. It’s unique, mysterious, and the right touch of romance.

Cuts Deeply
Revisado: 03-05-21
This series has so far been excellent. They are deep, raw, emotional explorations of love and humanity/“otherness” they are by no means Quick romances. There are struggles of seemingly insurmountable differences of morality and opinion. There are lessons and losses. Each of these two books has made me feel raw at the end. But absolutely satisfied.

Cutler Ryder was everything I wasn’t. He was the hockey star. I was an outcast. He was best friends with my stepbrother, that same stepbrother who hated me. His two parents loved him. My mom was a junkie. My dad barely knew me. Years passed. I got my life together. Cut went onto NHL stardom. Then there was a text.

Be ready to cry
Revisado: 01-09-21
This story is so good. It breaks your heart at the beginning, but puts it back together by the end. It gives you a view into living with mental illness. It wraps it all up nicely with some love and a very understanding partner. I liked the honesty from the characters. The attempt at showing the reality of mental illness. I’m always up for a HEA. The narration was great.

They say that life is a beautiful lie and death a painful truth. They're right. No one has ever made me feel more alive than the guy who serves as a constant reminder that my clock is ticking. He is my forbidden, shiny apple. The striking fallacy to my blunt, raw, truth. He is also my sister's ex-boyfriend. One thing you should know before you judge me: I saw him first. I craved him first. I loved him first. Eleven years later, he waltzed into my life, demanding a second chance. Dean Cole wants to be my bronze horseman. Hopefully, he isn't too late.

Breaks Your Heart
Revisado: 01-09-21
This book broke my heart. I ugly cried so hard at the end. It was a rollercoaster love story with toxic people and environments, wasted time and selfishness. It was well written and well narrated. Just maybe don’t read if you don’t like crying.
**Spoilers**
I enjoyed this book be caused regardless of how flawed these people were there was genuine true love there. Deans need for Rosie was the shining redemption for all of the shit they went through. That she was it. It was always them. Always would be. There would be no one else. That their time apart he was still hers just renting his dick until she realized it. Once they’re together I would have thought that would have maintained that intensity. Well, looking ahead in the series with their kids Dean may be moving on with someone else a year after Rosie dies!!! I am done with this series. No thank you. No. No more breaking my heart. True love is bullshit apparently.

Twilight was better
- De Avid Reader en 07-09-20
This will not be a reread.
Revisado: 12-17-20
The story felt predictable, and then the author would try to blindside you in weird ways. It just didn't feel like it flowed. The narrator tried, but his inflection was lacking. He felt like he was channeling Yoda or something when he voiced other male characters. Bless him. He tried. I like his voice. Honestly, he was probably bored with the story too. This was a struggle to finish.
It drags on for so long before anything substantial happens. Then boom, bam, fizzle it's over. Lame. It does have parts that kind of remind you of Twilight.
**Spoiler Alert**
I get the author wanted complex characters/side characters/plots, but a scarred loner with a tamed diet that falls in love with his mothers rapist/murderer? Weird. Inlove enough to die for him? It also felt like she was setting it up for a follow up at the end for the twins.

I'm not a one-night stand kind of woman. I'm especially not the woman who has a few drinks at a concert and ends up in bed with my childhood celebrity crush, Eli Walsh. However, that's exactly where I find myself. What's a girl to do after a drunken mistake? Run. I grab my clothes and get away from the powerful, irresistible, and best-sex-of-my-life superstar as fast as I can.

Pretty Good
Revisado: 11-12-20
It wasn't a book I couldn't put down. It is pretty good. I just believe the heroine is whiny and impulsive. They keep preaching she's a strong bad ass. I just didn't see her as that. I rolled my eyes during her whiny rants or jumping to awful conclusions.

Is it wrong that I wish it was longer?
Revisado: 05-13-17
I know the story is where the action is, but I want more of their happily ever after. Rhys is flawless. I wanna see them have their son. I enjoyed this series immensely. We just need to see more happy endings. I think she'll probably/hopefully do spin offs for Lucien and Cass. I would definitely recommend this series to anyone.
