Captivating Story With Cyberpunk Tech & Philosophy

This is a non-spoiler review so I'll be brief; this is one of the books that capture the readers attention from the beginning with pretty deep, interesting and very well written characters which are unique to each their own.

High tech behind the cyborgs, their outfits and weapons are exquisite and fun to imagine about. It is very obvious that author did a lot of research and study about tech and weaponry which are very important elements of science fiction and cyberpunk culture.

I am a huge Battle Angel Alita fan. And with it's moody atmosphere, very well crafted story, interesting characters (with some pretty shocking back stories) and their interaction with each other and the outside world; Behind Blue Eyes is exactly what a fan of science fiction literature would look for. It has everything one can imagine and more - sometimes in a pretty twisted way which is super-cool!

Put some cyberpunk style ambient music on the background and start reading / listening to this captivating story... You'll enjoy every second of it.

Sensational Storm Of Hotness

A state of the art and hot - in your face type of story that is giving chills and shortness of breath in every second. Author utilized her knowledge and understanding on psychology to question every motive hidden behind the human behaviour, masterfully once again. The most striking part of this story to me is it left me all alone myself wondering the future of the characters since they were so real and so genuine like they were some people I know in real life. Such a gifted author and well crafted story.

Pure Hot Blast Of Fun

Alexa Nichols did it again. Her understanding of human psychology and human behaviour is at master degree and she is able to transfer that knowledge into fluently told stories perfectly. This book features tales that are pure hot blast of fun without even a single dull moment. They easily take the reader into to their wonderful world and offers a great deal of excitement in every second. A joyride that you'll never want to end.

Most Blisteringly Intense Story Ever

This is the most blisteringly intense story ever... for the first time in my life I needed to take a break in the middle of a book.

If you superficially think that this is about a kidnap and gang rape - you are so wrong. The mind behind this story obviously has an extremely deep knowledge about human psyche and primal instincts and how they rule from the deep, the logical conscious mind we use everyday.

Just like author's other stories this one smashes the norms of civilization into pieces and tears down the borders of imagination; questions everything you believe and trust - from religious faith to the "strong and independent woman" concept - which is pretty fashionable lately. Puts the reader face to face with the cold harsh reality of the domination of pure raw physical strength and how an average person could be helpless against it.

The moment when main female protagonist let her self completely go will make you question yourself about almost any rule of moral you have - and everything you believe about your physical and mental faculties.

This tale dragged me into it viciously and completely filled my mind with it atmosphere. To do such thing it usually takes a huge production team from writer, vfx artists, actors to directors and haunting musical scores. This author, Alexa Nichols achieved the same affect on me just by herself using words.

Mindblowing...

Mesmerizing

I wanted this never end. Emotional, moody, sexy and wonderful. I stared interested in this kind of literature because of this wonderful author and loving it even more.
