Very little to do with Scott Harvath (the main character)
Revisado: 12-02-22
This was more like a side story, which would be fine if it was clear that was what this was in the book series. Scott shows up a couple times in the story, but has very little to do with it. Not a bad story, just wasn’t what I expected from the prior books.

Really entertaining
Revisado: 06-28-17
I enjoyed the mix of history with fiction. The reader did a great job with accents for different characters. Highly recommend. :)

I really loved this book. It really kept me captivated. The writing was good, awesome story and the performance by Wil Wheaton was on point. Definitely recommend it.

Historia
As the Empire reels from its critical defeats at the Battle of Endor, the Rebel Alliance—now a fledgling New Republic—presses its advantage by hunting down the enemy’s scattered forces before they can regroup and retaliate. But above the remote planet Akiva, an ominous show of the enemy’s strength is unfolding. Out on a lone reconnaissance mission, pilot Wedge Antilles watches Imperial Star Destroyers gather like birds of prey circling for a kill, but he’s taken captive before he can report back to the New Republic leaders.

Writing is almost unbearable
Revisado: 12-16-15
I listened to the whole thing hoping the overly descriptive adjectives would taper off and they were just there to set the stage. It continued the whole way through though. :/ It feels like it needed some good editing to make it better. The story was just ok. Not what I would expect of a Star Wars book. The narration was done pretty well. This book wasn't for me, but maybe somebody else would enjoy this style of writing? I found it difficult to get through.
