Historia
How to Lose a Country is an impassioned plea, a warning to the world that populism and nationalism don’t march fully-formed into government; they creep. Award winning author and journalist Ece Temelkuran, identifies the early-warning signs of this phenomenon, sprouting up across the world from Eastern Europe to South America, in order to define a global pattern, and arm the reader with the tools to root it out.

Ece hates Trump
Revisado: 04-15-22
Ok, we get it. Ece hates Trump and all conservatives. The irony in this work is that almost all the things she hates about conservatives”populist” are the same things conservatives hate about the far left “populists”. A middle school temper tantrum at best.

Historia
When James Bond was still in diapers, Virginia Hall was behind enemy lines, playing a dangerous game of cat and mouse with Hitler’s henchmen. Virginia was the baddest broad in any room she walked into. When the State Department proved to be a sexist boys’ club that wouldn’t let her in, she became a spy for the British. This boss lady helped arm and train the French Resistance and organized sabotage missions. There was just one problem: The Butcher of Lyon, a notorious Gestapo commander, was after her. But Virginia’s classmates didn’t call her the Fighting Blade for nothing.

An amazing account of Virginia Hal!
Revisado: 02-19-22
I thoroughly enjoyed this account of Virginia Hall’s life as a spy and her critical work to liberate France from the Nazis in WWII. Also, the author’s use of modern-day, young-people slang was extremely entertaining! #funny/AF

I loved this book!! Noa Tishby provides details on the history of Israel and Palestine that I had not yet been exposed. Very well researched and presented. I thoroughly enjoyed listening and I ordered a hard copy for reference. Thank you, Noa!!
