Weary of the ravages of World War II, seventeen-year-old Nada is no stranger to loss. This story was so heartbreakingly beautiful. Its unique view on historical events, along with beautiful writing made for a fantastic story full of heart-racing action and emotional upheaval within an epic love story.
And the narration, my goodness, I was drawn in and utterly destroyed by their performances. A must read/listen!
