Historia
Clash of the Generations explores a new and increasingly common workplace phenomenon, and provides strategies to help managers navigate this ever more complex maze: Traditionally, older workers would retire and make room for the next generation; instead, Baby Boomers are now prolonging their time in the workplace, yet the successive generations are still coming in. Senior leaders are now left to manage a blended workplace comprised of up to four generations - each with their own ideas of work ethic, work/life balance, long-term career goals, and much more.

Wonderful Discussion_Managing Across Generations
Revisado: 05-18-23
What a great discussion on managing across generations. This book reviews the opportunities we all have to manage, learn, and grow no matter which generation we belong to. Val is an awesome guide in the quagmire of our new reality. I would suggest this book to "Boomers" to understand the "X'ers" and the "X'ers" to understand the "Boomers".

Historia
Sadness, shame, helplessness, anger, embarrassment, disappointment, frustration, and vulnerability. In 30 years as a practicing psychologist, Dr. Joan Rosenberg has found that what most often blocks people from success and feeling capable in life is the inability to experience, move through, and handle these eight unpleasant feelings. Knowing how to deal with intense, overwhelming, or uncomfortable feelings is essential to building confidence, emotional strength, and resilience.

Loved it! I finished listening then took Dr. Rosenberg’s advice and began listening to it again. This book is a must listen to creating a strategic approach to 90 Seconds to a Life You Love. As told by a clinical psychologist, educator, and neuroscience researcher; the book is expertly crafted and brutally honest when managing through emotions such as sadness, shame, helplessness, anger, embarrassment, disappointment, frustration, and vulnerability.
This book should be on your annual listening to list!
