This book was a great review of what I already knew and added even more knowledge of how to live a healthy life. The biochemistry and behavior connection is brought home expertly. I am a pharmacist and lifelong fitness practitioner and found this book enlightening, a bit scary, and has prompted me to re-examine some of my OWN behaviors and diet. PRICELESS.

I hemmed and hawed about this one for months, but finally took the plunge and listened. Very entertaining in a light-hearted humor sort of way but kept me engaged throughout. Give it a try...you won't be disappointed!

As with all the other books in this series, I absolutely loved both the story and the narration. I was expecting a bit more bad-ass-ness, but I suppose we all grow and mature. :)

I am a habitual Sci-fi/Fantasy listener. Occasionally I branch out to non-fiction. This was WELL WORTH THE CREDIT. I would have given my 2 credits for this book. Extremely well written. Narrated masterfully (yeah...Scott Brick..how could it not be?) and keeping your attention through detailed technical points, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this book. I just wish it were longer.

Maberry and Porter nail it AGAIN!

I couldn't wait to listen to this one....I couldn't wait to find out what happened...and when it ended I revisited the last bunch of chapters several times to relish the story. Maberry writes the epic story and Porter delivers it with his usual punch. It is like eating an epic meal without the calories but with all the satisfaction.

I don't *do* children oriented fiction generally. Actually, I avoid such stories. Not. My. Thing. However, from the beginning I enjoyed this listen. The writing is superb and draws you in...even if you don't want to be drawn. Bravo, Mr. McIlveen for leading me outside my literary comfort zone!

I don't normally like coming of age books but...

I took a chance on this one because it had brilliant ratings and was long (I love long books!) I was happily surprised! Normally I dislike the 'coming of age' storylines, but this was so well written *and* expertly narrated that I found myself enthralled from the beginning. Well worth the credits!!!

I stumbled across this series by accident, and wow, am I glad! Don't be put off by the length of the books...you will get sucked into the story, even when there is no 'action' happening, by the excellent writing and phenomenal narration. I love the 'train of thought' moments! This is a unique and brilliant read...both books!

Maberry does it *again*...I continue to be blown away by the trouble he puts Joe Ledger through! Never a dull moment, Ray Porter's narration is *amazing* (as usual,) and another fascinating plot premise in the series. I found myself looking for reasons to listen at every opportunity. This is a *must-have!*

Jim Butcher does it AGAIN!

I am a long-time Jim Butcher fan and was curious to explore his brand new world. Wow, did this one blow me away! This new series is solidly based both in character and world-building. The essence of 'cat' is spot-on... it really depicts what I like to refer to as 'cattitude!' The narrator is fantastic and helps draw you into the story even more. Try it, as it shall not dissapoint!
