Historia
As far from explored space as any human has ever been, Geary and the Alliance fleet are on their own, protecting a diplomatic mission in territory belonging to an alien species with still-unknown motives. His already complex and dangerous mission is further imperiled by deadly challenges from other human factions seeking to harm or exploit the aliens. When another alien species whose technology is far more advanced than humanity’s arrives, the stakes are raised to the highest possible level.

Story is running thin
Revisado: 01-19-24
I love the original series, I've listened to the Lost Fleet several times, and continually go back and listed to it. I've liked all the other series as well including Beyond the Frontier, The Lost Stars and Genesis Fleet. All good. So I was excited for another round of Black Jack Geary. However with this one, the story is starting to run a bit thin. When I got done with Implacable, I felt like we were all in the exact same place as when the book started. To be honest, I feel like we are almost in the exact same place as we were when this Outlands series started. It's been three books of the same ole same ole interfleet drama that, lets be honest, should be over at this point...and very little movement with ETs.
I will pick up the next one because I do like Black Jack that much, however it will be with some skeptisim, I really hope that the next one has something big and meaningful happen, or it might be time for me to personally sunset this series.

Historia
Geary believed in the Alliance. Even when he uncovered overwhelming evidence that the highest echelons of the government and fleet command were involved in secret programs and prison camps, he believed it was worth saving. He believed his duty was to see that justice was served even though some factions feared that revealing the truth would cause the Alliance to crumble. But after narrowly surviving two assassination attempts when he brings evidence of the misdeeds to the capital star system, Geary realizes that some want to get rid of him.

What a surprise!
Revisado: 06-20-21
I had no idea another book in this series was coming out. It was a pleasure to be back in the Gearyverse, Christian Rummel does another wonderful job with the narration.
If you are a fan of the series, you will enjoy this one. Mr. Campbell seamlessly, fits you right back into the continuation of the storyline.

Historia
After the Wolfman nation is shattered, Jaxon has enough spare time to advance his skills and specialize into a better class. Since Joe and his other teammates are either incapacitated or on a mission Jaxon does not believe in, the misunderstood chiropractor-turned-gamer strikes out on his own. The issue with creating your own path is that you have no idea what awaits you, especially when low charisma guarantees legendary misunderstandings. For Jaxon, that’s half the fun.

A whole lot of fun
Revisado: 04-09-20
I was hesitant to listen to this one, I just wanted to carry on with the main story. So glad I gave it a try. I found myself laughing constantly at Jaxon and his antics. I came to enjoy Jaxon so much, that I wanted much more of him in Raze. The expansion of the world and the people / places in it, was enjoyable as well.
As for the new narrator. I'm sure if you just binged through the first two books with Vikas Adam (who was great), the switch would be jarring / off putting at first. I picked this up after some time off between Book 2 and 3, and the change didn't bother me at all. I thought Luke Daniels did a good job with it, and was perfectly fine.
Love this series, It's been very entertaining.

Historia
Combat is literally her middle name. Chimeric Adaptive Enhanced Combat Operator - but now Caeco Jensen - works for the FBI, building a new life and trying to learn from a painful past. It’s hard to fit in when you are one of a kind, but maybe, just maybe, there’s a place for her in this world. That is, if threats from off planet don’t ruin it first. Forging and protecting a new future with a her unique skillset won’t be easy, maybe almost as hard as making new friends.

Pleasantly surprised
Revisado: 01-03-20
I could have gone without seeing C.A.E.C.O. in any future Demon Accords books. I was completely shocked to see the next Demon Accords book focused on her, and really had no desire to listen to it. I'm glad I did. C.A.E.C.O was actually a pretty entertaining character to follow along with. It was also nice getting a fresh perspective of what other people within the world are doing to keep up the fight, while Chris, Declan and company are off doing their things. If you are a Demon Accords fan, and are hesitant to pick this one up because C.A.E.C.O. hasn't been the most likable person in past books.., give it a try. I think you'll enjoy the C.A.E.C.O that is in this one.

It's definitely for Kids
Revisado: 12-10-19
I picked this up for my 11 year old daughter, and she really liked it. As it was written for her age group, that's all that really matters imo. I listened to the story along with her, as we were on a long trip with a lot of driving. Are there parts of the story / plot that an older reader might have issues with... yes. However, I don't feel the need to address any of those. I don't think children in my daughters age group are going to notice or care about those issues. Again, It's for kids, my daughter enjoyed it, and that's all that really mattered...to me.
I did want to mention that I thought the narrator did an amazing job! He used many different voices for the characters, and made it very easy for me to listen along with my daughter. It looks like this is the only book he's narrated on Audible so far. I'm hoping he does more.
