Historia
Nesta Archeron has always been prickly-proud, swift to anger, and slow to forgive. And ever since being forced into the Cauldron and becoming High Fae against her will, she's struggled to find a place for herself within the strange, deadly world she inhabits. Against the sweeping backdrop of a world seared by war and plagued with uncertainty, Nesta and Cassian battle monsters from within and without as they search for acceptance - and healing - in each other's arms.

Good story - terrible Narrator.
Revisado: 03-14-25
Love the story line but for some parts it was hard to get through do to the narrator. It was like she was having a "Org" while reading.
Lastly, why do they keep changing the narrators? That's annoying.
I guess I'll be getting the physical copy of the book and read it that way. Because like so many others have said. While listening you couldn't tell one character from the next.
But Good job Sarah J Maas.

Someone messaged us saying “Instead of rich guys paying for my drinks as a twenty year old, is there older rich guys waiting at gas stations to pay for my gas tank fillup?” TOO funny… We talk more about when a best friend breaks up with you, and how it’s harder than a significant other’s relationship breakup. We did the second last round of snoring to qualify for Sleep Country’s big grand prize for tomorrow, and the last chance to win tix to the Weeknd by playing the Newsworthy Lyrics game. At a recent Brooklyn Nets game, confetti was falling from the rafters during the game, onto ...

Where is the actual story about Friend break up ?
Revisado: 05-16-22
This podcast sucked.
99% of the show they talked about everything else but the topic.
Nothing discussed was funny or entertaining.
I wouldn't listen to the actual show if they paid me.

Good Beach Summer Read
Revisado: 09-10-20
This story was a quick beach summer read.
It didnt require any deep thought. or it wasn't thought provoking.
over all I like the story for that reason. Sometimes you want to read a story that is light and fun. Nothing toooo deep.
And this story was it.
The characters were all immature for their ages which got on my nerves but I guess you had to have some drama somewhere. Because other than that there werent any drama or conflict.
I am a sucker for happy endings and this did not disappoint. The ending was to neatly wrapped together but hey it was a easy beach summer read.
So over all I love this story and would read it again just in case I missed something.

OOOO the twist
Revisado: 07-13-20
This story came off a little predictable but the twist at the end was wonderful.
OOOO this Audible original was a good one.
I loved all the twist and turns this one had. Though it was predictable the little surprise at the end was well worth it.
The Performance was good along with the writing.

Historia
Is bourbon the quintessential American liquor? Bourbon is not just alcohol - the amber-colored drink is deeply ingrained in American culture and tangled in American history. From the early days of raw corn liquor to the myriad distilleries that have proliferated around the country today, bourbon is a symbol of the United States. This course traces bourbon's entire history, from the 1700s, with Irish, Scottish, and French settlers setting up stills and making distilled spirits in the New World, through today's booming resurgence.

Normally I dont like reading about history.
I find it rather boring but this had me intrigged.
I kept my attention throughout the entire 4 hours.
It was fascinating to learn about how bourbon came to be and how it affected a certain group of people.

Must say I was looking for a total different story.
The title should have been A Space a History.
This book felt like a history book sprinkled with fiction.
I tried to get into it but I was bored to death.

Historia
On a dark, wintry day, Eliza Grey receives a mysterious letter from her ailing Nana Mora begging her to come for a visit. This is an easy "Yes". Eliza has always preferred Nana Mora's beach cottage on St. Simons Island to the apartment she and her mom call home in the city. The island is a magical place where stories and legends grow as thick as the Spanish moss dangling in the trees. Now, Nana Mora's eyesight is fading, and there's something she wants to show Eliza before it’s totally gone: a mythical place locals refer to as Sirens Harbor.

What a small Adventure
Revisado: 07-10-20
Loved this story.
It was predictable but I love the journey it took me on.
Also, the story was just a little tooo short. It could have went into a little more background on the mother and why she didnt like going into the old stories with the Grandma.
But overall I love the story and the performance.

Historia
Less than 250,000 people live in the Northern Territory, an area more than twice the size of Texas. If you want to escape from civilisation, you don’t have to go far. But you can’t outrun the heat. Every year during October and November the sweltering climate can drive people wild; they call it ‘Suicide Season’, ‘Mango Madness’ or, more plainly, ‘The Build-up’. It’s during this blistering heat that Jim O’Connell’s body is found in a creek bed, mummified and with his genitals removed.

Historia
Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel’s story is about to be completely rewritten. The Fault in Our Stars is insightful, bold, irreverent, and raw. It brilliantly explores the funny, thrilling, and tragic business of being alive and in love.

Still Star Struck
Revisado: 02-27-20
This will be my second time reading this book and it still hits as if Im reading it for the first time. This is the book that jump started my reading again. I use to read tons of books in a week but just got to the point where I was too busy to read.
While watching HBO I kept running across the ending of the movie Fault in our stars and was just pulled in. Then I decided to to watch the complete movie. Apon watching the movie I discovered it was a book and oh my goodness was there a book. I went out that day bought the book and read it in one sitting. It was so engaging and had me all in my feels. I had to get my hands on everything John Green wrote and I must say I wasnt disappointed.
The two main characters were so likable that they felt like they were apart of your family or they were you close friends.
John Green has this ability to make you feel what each character is feeling. This book truly had me on an emotional roller coaster and it takes alot for me to even think about getting on one.
LOVE IT just LOVE IT>
