Rosamund Pike is a marvel.

Incredibly narrated. Very different from the television series, and yet just as wonderfully absorbing.
Beautiful, rich storytelling at its finest.

Hilarious!
Revisado: 06-02-23
An highly entertaining listen for tweens and adults alike! Story is a dark (think Snickett) and full of absurdities that are simply hilarious. Winslet’s performance is one of the best I’ve ever heard in my 15 years with audible. A brilliant bit of fun.

A bit cheesy, but great.
Revisado: 02-21-21
Needed this. The writing is easy (characters a bit flat and there are other literary foibles), but the story was absorbing and timely. To my surprise I got lost in it. Theme is a tad hokey (bourgeois angst and malaise) but it is exactly that of which my heart needed reminding. Despite my internal divisions, my enjoyment won out. Carrie Mulligan provided skilled narration - hoping to hear more of her on audible.
