Historia
Frederick Fife was born with an extra helping of kindness in his heart. If he borrowed your car, he’d return it washed with a full tank of gas. The problem is there’s nobody left in Fred’s life to borrow from. At eighty-two, he’s desperately lonely, broke, and on the brink of homelessness. But Fred’s luck changes when, in a bizarre case of mistaken identity, he takes the place of grumpy Bernard Greer at the local nursing home. Now he has warm meals in his belly and a roof over his head—as long as his poker face is in better shape than his prostate and that his look-alike never turns up.

Characters and love!
Revisado: 02-02-25
Such a heartwarming story. Love the elderly and humor and tie in love and family (no matter how you get them) and what is not to appreciate in this book!

Boring
Revisado: 08-09-24
I would think people picking this book are Disney fans. Not anything new, in-depth or intriguing in this book.plus is outdated. As a Disney fan you kniw a “walk thru” the “World” going to change constantly. Forced myself thru it. Woukd not recommend if wanting any new fun Disney info.

Should have read jacket on this. Genre not for me but having said that it was ok listen. Had saw on audible Facebook page that a lot of people said it was their favorite audiobook. Definitely will not standout to me as a favorite.

Historia
Somewhere out beyond the edge of the universe there is a library that contains an infinite number of books, each one the story of another reality. One tells the story of your life as it is, along with another book for the other life you could have lived if you had made a different choice at any point in your life. While we all wonder how our lives might have been, what if you had the chance to go to the library and see for yourself? Would any of these other lives truly be better? In The Midnight Library, Nora Seed finds herself faced with this decision.

Super interesting subject.

Really makes one think about their life and choices. Concept intriguing. Thought “fire” near end out of place or odd way to get to ending but overall had my attention and I’d recommend.

Meandering all over
Revisado: 04-03-24
Loved “Racing with Sherman” and “Born to Run” by this author but this book was tough to get through. Seemed to meander all over. General story of German general and physicality super interesting but tried to get way to much other into book. Could not recommend it.

Music drove me nuts. Did not enjoy the “production”.
Revisado: 03-24-24
Book was pretty good. Felt characters sometimes hard to keep up with- not an “easy” listen. But music within it drive me nuts. I just want a reader - not a dramatic play. It very much distracted my interest.
