The World Setting is Probably the most interesting thing about this. About advances in society and technology and So on but What if there's almighty immortal magi that were a part of the system. it leads to a lot of Questions of how the world ended up in the setting with the clues we get from the past because it sounds like there is a bunch of immortal magi warlords in the past, but somehow someone did something to Advanced society and get the all powerful immortal magi to Stop being Dictators. the Magic system is also in depth and Pretty open but at the same time is pretty standard and All over the place. There are a lot of characters. It's probably one of the better parts About the book Personally I can't really relate To the main character, but he was alright. His family, his teachers and so on are pretty good. the plot of the book is lucky Kid gets picked by big shot mage. Then slice of life adventures of being an apprentice. that sums it up pretty good.

Good unique plot to the end

Jake fell and grew a lot in the book truly a good character with twist and turns. jake is a character that people can look up to and relate to, that is the book it has Great fights and progression but it's truly is the journey that is the treasure in the book. The one critique that I could say about the book is it's mainly just about Jake and his story It doesn't have much character growth and change in friends except maybe one I can't be sure.

I saw this book come out and I didn't really like the sample and didn't enjoy it but I just got this book and it's good it's a cultivation story book that isn't about cultivation really It is but at the same time it's not it's more about the enjoyment of cultivation and the reason to cultivate. well also giving two great main characters

good slice of life

It was good I enjoyed it main character doesn't want to be a hero or do anything like that and has one simple goal of fishing because he enjoys it still wants connections and that's his goal doesn't want to get caught up in tropes that are in other stories. of course this story still has a lot of tropes but nice twist

I enjoyed the first chapter

yeah after the first chapter it goes pretty downhill I can say I just dislike how it flows it's hard to describe there was a moment where he's talk like how he studied and tried to break through the first layer and then when this expert comes along which was kind of confusing when that happened and suddenly I don't know where he can go through and he and his mind says that has to be something with the expert or whatever but it just never got to that point and two chapters after that never went back to that and overall it just wasn't working well

Nice twist of the litrpg

I like that It is realistic to a certain extent of what would actually happen during a litrpg apocalypse It is also pretty dark instead of having human CEO overlords pretty much we now have alien CEO OVERLORDS I enjoyed listening to it and I like how there is a period of time that the aliens don't come to Earth but not out of kindness of their hearts instead it's a quarantine so they are sure to not spread diseases or other things But there are aliens that break these rules and break the quarantine to do illegal stuff very realistic
