So well written!
Revisado: 06-18-24
I lived through this era as a teenager. My friend’s brothers were going to Vietnam. I watched the nightly news and remember the tumultuous times.
This book spoke to me in so many ways. First as a woman, then as an American. I could not stop listening, I laughed and cried. Excellent read!

Enjoying the Winter Black series
Revisado: 05-16-24
This was my fourth book of the Winter Black series and I’m hooked. They are a good crime series, easy to read, much like binge watching a good series on Netflix. Solving crime, and just enough romance to keep you intrigued.

I really enjoyed this book, I had to keep listening to find out where it was going. So many guesses, until you know who you want it to be and who you hope it isn’t! Well read also helped make the story believable and real.

Historia
I’ve been in this life for fifty years, been trying to work out its riddle for forty-two, and been keeping diaries of clues to that riddle for the last thirty-five. Notes about successes and failures, joys and sorrows, things that made me marvel, and things that made me laugh out loud. How to be fair. How to have less stress. How to have fun. How to hurt people less. How to get hurt less. How to be a good man. How to have meaning in life. How to be more me. Recently, I worked up the courage to sit down with those diaries.
