Historia
Join host Joanne Ozug on The Road to Carnivore to learn why you should eat more meat and less plants to create better health. This audio series posits that the further you go down the road to carnivore, the healthier you will be. Sound crazy? All skepticism is welcome. I'm going to challenge the narrative that meat is bad and unhealthy, and invite you to explore the possibility that meat is actually the healthiest food you can eat. Hit subscribe, and get ready for me to answer all your questions and concerns about shifting toward this way of eating. I'll also address the obstacles that come ...

She is smart concise and easy to listen to. I’ve listened to her podcast more than once. It makes me happy that she found her health.

Historia
Here is the novel that will be forever considered a triumph of the imagination. Set on the desert planet Arrakis, Dune is the story of the boy Paul Atreides, who would become the mysterious man known as Maud'dib. He would avenge the traitorous plot against his noble family and would bring to fruition humankind's most ancient and unattainable dream.

Beautiful Book, Mixed Narration
Revisado: 05-16-23
This book, as so many others might share, gave me an experience like no other. I could talk for hours about strong character motivations, vibrant settings, and clever political plot lines, but I’d only be laboring a point that has long stood. Dune has survived as a classic, has been remade to screen multiple time, has treasured half a century later, due to its startlingly enjoyable contents.
This all being said, the voice direction and cutting of the actual performance is a bit… confused. Certain, very infrequently but still, passages/phrases are missing. There is also a back and forth between a dramatized version of different actors and the standard narrator experience. Both are of good quality and the shifts tend to happen between scenes, but it is still disconcerting.

Historia
Unpacking her belongings in her new hometown of Portland, Oregon, herbalist and reformed alchemist Zoe Faust can't help but notice she's picked up a stowaway. Dorian Robert-Houdin is a living, breathing three-and-half-foot gargoyle - not to mention a master of French cuisine - and he needs Zoe's expertise to decipher a centuries-old text. Zoe, who's trying to put her old life behind her, isn't so sure she wants to reopen her alchemical past... until the dead man on her porch leaves her no choice.

Fun and magical tale. A great book to listen to on a long drive. Suitable for the whole family. Narration was good only knock is in production some throat clearing in chapter pauses should be edited out.
