Sanderson does it again. I have read many of his books and enjoyed every single one. This one did not disappoint. In fact, I will say it has become one of my favorites and I look forward to continuing on with the series. Thank you again and again for you, and your team’s, creativity and efforts in creating this book. Additionally the narrator, Suzy Jackson, does a wonderful job bringing the characters and story to life. Very talented! It is a wonderful “escape” and truly enjoyable experience.

Take out the unnecessary sex (ie borderline porn) that seemed to drag on and on, and you have a pretty good story.
Loved Holt’s character. He definitely added a little fun spice to the mix.

Agree with others…too short and lacking

Love the series and the author. Disappointed as the stories seem to be getting shorter and there is less depth within the writing. It’s still a fun book, but way too shallow and too short. Definitely not one of my faves and the length not worth the credit or price. Please expand on the next one and show us how amazing your writing truly is! ❤️

Very inspirational. Great information.
Love how Brendon presents this book. There is just a happiness that exudes from him. You can hear the passion in his voice throughout the entire book. It is genuine and inviting. Definitely kept me listening and I will be listening to this again.

Went back and forth with this one. Slow at times and intriguing at others. Agree with others as there was quite a bit of repetition.
Generally enjoyed it overall both from an educational standpoint as well as a historical fiction novel.

Great as always…agree with others on length

As many others mentioned, the overall book proved to be too short. Take away the first chapter (which is a replay of the last chapter from the previous book) and it was even shorter and just too short to warrant the cost or credit used.
Other than that, I still enjoyed the book and the narration was terrific as always.

Absolutely loved this book. So much more actual action and interaction with the characters outside of war planning. Looking forward to the next one.
