is one of my favourite authors. The on Dublin Street series is exceptional and this addition to the series didn't disappoint. My only complaint is that it was over too soon.

All of the BDB novels are excellent, but this one especially gripped me. This one made me cry and laugh, and I am so happy she has introduced additional characters....assuming more wonderful books to come. I can't wait!!!

I loved this book. I am an avid romance reader/listener and yes, I like the steamy love scenes. This book had NONE, I mean NONE yet the characters pulled me in. I couldn't wait to listen to a chapter or two on my way to work...and the ending.....so happy!!!! You fall in love with Lincoln and Beth, and all the supporting characters. - Like I said...Simple and Timeless!!!!

This book was by far the best of the trilogy. (spoiler alert) - I was glad there was a happy ending...and by happy ending, I mean REALLY HAPPY ending. After all the termoil all they needed was each other!

Have you ever wanted to go back in time to when women always wore dresses, men opened carriage doors for them, and a smile or a hand shake would have your stomach tied in knots? Sometimes, right? Well Juliana has the best of both worlds. While she can pretend to be a prim and proper victoria lady, she can also don a pair of jeans and sit astride....not on a horse but a motorcycle and enjoy the amenities of modern day...which first attracted me to the character and... no to mention the eye of Webster Donovan.
I enjoyed this book, as I have with most of Suzanne Brockmann's work. While not a mystery/romance as some of her titles have been, this one will keep you laughing, crying and even getting angry.
I have to say though, I didn't give this book 5 out of 5 because, Juliana's wining grated on my nerves just a little... but hey, if there wasn't something from stopping the two from getting together right away, it would have been a very short book.
All in all I enjoyed listening to Patrick Lawlor narrate. It is hard to find a male narrator who can portray/voice a female character without making her sound like a transgender male.
I listened, I enjoyed and I will continue to purchase Suzanne's audio books.

The Guardian...another hit from Sherrilyn Kenyon.

I have been an avid reader/listener of Sherrilyn Kenyon's books (series) for sometime now and each time she surprises me with the depth of the characters and her continuing ability to bring the existing story, and the ongoing sagas to life.
The Guardian did not disappoint. The emotions expressed are both heart fealt and intense...of course with the help of Fred Berman. Fred's voice brings to life everything I believe Sherrilyn is trying to convey, and his characterization is fantastic.
In short, whether you have read the previous books in this series, this book is excellent as as stand alone, as well as a continuation of the series.
Listen to the Guardian and you will see why I return to her books over and over again.
