Great choice

Loved this book! We get some answers to questions from prior books snd hints to where the series possibly could go. I like the fact that characters from previous books are in this book as well. There is growth in the characters and creativity in the writing. I dont get the feeling that parts of the book were recycled from other books the way I feel some authors do. (I really dislike that)!
Wonderful read/listen. Looking forward to more books in the series.

Disappointed

I have always liked this series, but I was very disappointed in this one. This woman is supposed to be a police officer and an independent woman
But she does the most stupid and reduclous things. Not asking any questions about a cut up man, and holding a bag of blood over his mouth with no questions asked? Sticking knives in a thong, really? Not looking for a light in the basement? Hopping around holding a knife? Come on! And this is just in the first couple of chapters.

So tired of Kate! I enjoy these stories, however I end up wanting yell at, or maybe slap Kate. What normal person would not call the police when someone gets into your safty deposit box, or your apartment? Also why do you keep telling yourself that your jewelry is paste when someone is trying to steal it? Are you too stuped to get a second opinion? Please make Kate smarter!

This could have been good.....

The basics of the book could be good, however Violet makes me want to slap some backbone into her. She allows her boss to treat her disrespectfuly, like its pre womans movment. Her kids are horrible brats that need at the very least a VERY sturn talking to. Why the heck she puts up with their behavior is beyond me. Every time I get to a part of the book with her kids in it I almost quit listening. Now I skip ahead so I dont have to listen to the brats. Also, she needs to sit down with her aunt and pry all the family history from her. If the author would make Violet a woman who stands up for herself, isnt afraid of her family history and straighten out those kids this series would be on its way to being great.

Well worth reading/listening to!

This was a fascinating glimpse into Yo Yo MA's life. What I found so inspirational about this story was not only did he give us a glimpse into his private life but he also gave us a glimpse of what he hopes for the future. I was disappointed when it came to the end. I highly recommend this book, and will be forwarding it to my friends and family.

This book is amazing from front to back. I just love the characters and this world so much. How can they give me warm and fuzzies as well as chills at the same time? Anyway, I recommend this audible book for anyone who loves this genre.

Gut wrenching, Wonderfully written.

There is no way to listen to this and not experience some of the emotional pain that the writer experienced. As a parent I was extremely moved as she wrote about her daughter. I have deep respect for her ability to put into words some of her feelings, thoughts and experience. Extremely well written, and emotionally read. Have the tissues ready.

Man oh man

I just want to say that I love Lark. She always gets the short end of the stick but this only makes her stronger. She has literally gone through the gauntlet and perseveres through it all. This is set after Rylee Adamson novels and though it isn’t required i do recommend reading them. This book answers so many question we have been needing. I’m here for it all and can’t wait to read and hear more!
