I liked the entire story starting with an unconventional home life, not dis-functional.
How all the big life decisions just seem to come about. Her feelings, struggles and joys are real.

Better than expected

There are several significant sub plots in the story. I’ve not listened to this author before but I intend to listen to more of her books. Refreshing every day characters dealing with real life issues like breast cancer, depression, fantasy, neglect and most importantly relationships.

Outstanding

I enjoyed Lover Arisen. As soon as it ended I started it over. The brotherhood, the plot, the story and the narrator, especially the narrator, made the entire story flow effortlessly. Looking forward to the next book.
My only complaint is that I have to wait until July.

Definitely listen two or three times!

I’ve had this book in my library for a while. I’ve listened to so many “spirituality” books but knew their was a reason I choose this book at this time in my life. All spiritual teachings are saying the same things but their languages are all so different. The Untetheted Soul” summed up years of study for me.
The narrator was excellent. About to begin this book again.

This story really makes you think.

I chose this book because the story of parallel universes is interesting. I would have liked to know more details of the experiences during traversing. There was a palpable sadness throughout which had me feeling sad too. I usually look forward to listening to my audiobook, but felt obligated to listen so I could finish. The story became much more interesting by chapter 10. Very well written and would definitely consider listening to this author again.

Wish I had learned in school

I’m a yoga teacher with a wide variety of students. They vary in age and ability. All of them agree that what they learned in the yoga studio would have been beneficial had they learned it in kindergarten. I feel these same sentiments about The Mind of the Soul.

Had no idea

Never heard of the author until now. I picked this book I believe because it was once on NY Times bestseller list. Loved the ending, got a little bored throughout, but overall enjoyed the rich array of personalities. This book delved into what makes us all so different and yet so similar. What a paradox! Give this book your time, even when it seems to drone on. You’ll find this story seeping into your every day thoughts.

I enjoyed listening to this book about yoga. As a yoga teacher I am familiar with the content and always look forward to a different perspective. I have always lived in the United States therefore my perspective is that of a “westerner.” I use to feel as though my practice was somehow less authentic because I did not receive training in India. Frankly I have no desire to visit India. I’ve assimilated my life experiences into my practice and my teaching. Heidi explains yoga as a means to change one’s habits through observing oneself. In order to change you must recognize what it is you want to change. I’m not talking about anything physical, rather mental which involves thinking. Learning how you think is exciting because only you can do this. Whatever you do on the mat can be applied to the other 23 hours in a day.

I liked all the transitions Butch went through.
The Omega and Scribe Virgin are enthralling and I’d love to see this story on the big screen.
