Historia
Celebrating her forty-fifth birthday at her local pub, popular podcaster Alix Summer crosses paths with an unassuming woman called Josie Fair. Josie, it turns out, is also celebrating her forty-fifth birthday. They are, in fact, birthday twins. A few days later, Alix and Josie bump into each other again, this time outside Alix’s children’s school. Josie has been listening to Alix’s podcasts and thinks she might be an interesting subject for her series. She is, she tells Alix, on the cusp of great changes in her life.

Promising Book That Disappoints
Revisado: 01-14-24
This is a story with a promising plot that is ultimately bogged down by repetition and minutiae that have nothing to do with the plot. It reads as the daily life of a dog owner with a side mystery. If half of the references of walking, carrying a dog, and cleaning up after one were cut, there would still be far too many. I would not recommend this book nor will I be reading anything else by this author.

That's all right. Nobody has.

Historia
On a beautiful summer night in a charming English suburb, a young woman and her boyfriend disappear after partying at the massive country estate of a new college friend. One year later, a writer moves into a cottage on the edge of the woods that border the same estate. Known locally as the Dark Place, the dense forest is the writer’s favorite place for long walks and it’s on one such walk that she stumbles upon a mysterious note that simply reads, “DIG HERE.”

Series Takes a Political Turn
Revisado: 11-19-17
The first 4 series of the books were good but in this book the first 10 chapters focus the election of Trump and current political climate instead of discussing Kara or Roarke.
