Historia
Deep below the University, there is a dark place. Few people know of it: a broken web of ancient passageways and abandoned rooms. A young woman lives there, tucked among the sprawling tunnels of the Underthing, snug in the heart of this forgotten place. Her name is Auri, and she is full of mysteries. The Slow Regard of Silent Things is a brief, bittersweet glimpse of Auri’s life, a small adventure all her own. At once joyous and haunting, this story offers a chance to see the world through Auri’s eyes.

Like the author says: Just not for me, sorry.

I appreciate the author’s intent and honesty, but this one just wasn’t for me. I do love his other books.

Great story, but not many tips
Revisado: 10-14-21
I actually really enjoyed the stories, and the authors did a nice job as narrators as well. The only problem I had was that they don’t give many solid examples of their process or how to really improve yourself or your operations. Everything was either to vague or too specific to the company at issue in the book (Encore Cap). Overall a good read, but not a lot of truly helpful leadership information.

Historia
This is not the story of preppers with stockpiles of food, weapons, and a hidden bunker. This is the story of Colton Ryman, his stay-at-home wife, Madison, and their teenage daughter, Alex. In 36 Hours, the Ryman family and the rest of the world will be thrust into the darkness of a post-apocalyptic world.

Story was ok; flat narrator
Revisado: 04-04-17
This book has a slow start, especially for a relatively short story, but gets better over time. The unfortunate part is the narrator. He essentially uses one voice for all of the characters, making it tough to follow if you are not listening intently. The book was still enjoyable...just a disappointing performance.
