Historia
All the creatures of the night gather in "the Hollows" of Cincinnati, to hide, to prowl, to party...and to feed. Vampires rule the darkness in a predator-eat-predator world rife with dangers beyond imagining - and it’s Rachel Morgan’s job to keep that world civilized. A bounty hunter and a witch with serious sex appeal and an attitude, she’ll bring ’em back alive, dead...or undead.

Historia
A posthumous recipient of the World Fantasy Award for Lifetime Achievement, Marion Zimmer Bradley reinvented - and rejuvenated - the King Arthur mythos with her extraordinary Mists of Avalon series. In this epic work, Bradley follows the arc of the timeless tale from the perspective of its previously marginalized female characters: Celtic priestess Morgaine, Gwenhwyfar, and High Priestess Viviane.

I have fallen in love
Revisado: 02-14-16
While still not impressed with the narrator's attempts at accents, I enjoyed this second installment in this series thoroughly. Learning more of Jane's past only makes me more endeared to the character and the nerd references give me life. On to book 3!

Great beginning
Revisado: 02-11-16
A good start to what seems like a promising series. The author seems to have a solid foundation to build upon. The various gaming references make my heart happy, and I enjoy the way Ms. Bellet explains some of the mystical aspects of the world she has created. it is also refreshing to have an author that isn't afraid to let her characters swear as real people would.
My only complaints are that while good enough to hook me, the story seemed a little rushed in parts that I would have actually liked a little more explanation, and while she certainly tried her best Folly Blaine's attempts at accents left a little to be desired. I was left wishing Tatiana Maslany could have taken a crack at it. (To those who are unfamiliar with whom I am talking about, I must suggest you acquaint yourself with a show called "Orphan Black". Just trust me on this)
