While the idea of cancer's purpose in this book makes a lot of sense, the author makes so many grand claims which are completely unverifiable. He totally gets it wrong on animal proteins oxygenating effect on cell tissue, and stomach PHs between ourselves, cats, and wolves.

The author often sites "studies" without stating any specifics, which is pretty much the fake news version of "anonymous sources".

I think there's probably some validity to the author's claim on the nature of cancer, it makes sense, but do I believe that he saw a tumor completely disintegrate in 15 seconds by ultrasound? No.

It's a perfect starter book that addresses the medical and dietary misinformation that's so prevalent in today's society.

The author draws results from poorly designed studies that lump together saturated fat and trans fats, and red meat with processed food in order to conclude that meat is inflammatory.

Let's make it simple - if meat is inflammatory, then why is the carnivore diet so profoundly anti-inflammatory?

The author also seems to think that salt is inflammatory. It's not. It's also required to stay alive though. The largest study on salt in the world found that those who consume 6000mg daily have optimal blood pressure. Other studies show salt intake of 3000 to 6000mg had the lowest rate of cardiac incidents.

If this guy gets basic nutrition facts so wrong then what else is getting by him?

It's pretty basic investment information, but there is some useful info interspersed throughout the book. There is also some poor information.

He tells you that you don't need to write a budget, and then walks you through tracking spending and adjusting spending accordingly, which is in fact budgeting your money.

He conflates primary home ownership to real estate investing, and proceeds to compare home ownership against proper investment assets such as index funds, which is disingenuous. In reality, the only fair comparison is to compare home ownership to renting, and to compare real estate investing to other asset classes. He overestimates repair costs and neglects to account for the cost of rising rent payments over 30 years vs a fixed mortgage payment, and how investing the difference over those 30 years may affect your total portfolio value. He doesn't know that it's possible to avoid a PMI with only 10% down. Lastly, he doesn't touch on actual real estate investing, probably because he doesn't understand it.

The average American will find value in this book, but for those of you who have already finished multiple books on wealth building, Ramit is kind of an idiot.

Started off engaging with a good story and narration. Somewhere around 60% of the way through it fell off. The last 40% really sucked.

lots of false premise arguments presented as fact. some useful dialogue. This book is for people who have spent little time working on them self beforehand. That's not a bad thing, but if you're already on the path of self improvement maybe choose something beyond this.

And on top of that, not even all of the information in the book is accurate. The author has formed opinions on some things based on how the wind blows that are not backed up by actual data.

After having consumed this book, I'm inspired to learn more about John Wheeler's studies, along with the panpsychism related quotes from theoretical physicists like Heisenberg and Planck, but I was hoping for more nuts and bolts inferences, with logical proofs, than what was actually provided.

The book uses these quotes as proofs and draws massive inculcations as to the nature of the universe based on a potentially false premise of the nature of the universe.

I've also read that the author has plagiarized this work from another, which, to me, would explain the logical leaps he attempts to make.

Most of the "evidence" that the book makes its premise on are vast logical leaps that stem from the double slit experiment, and the monotone narrator makes for a terrible listen.

I wanted to like this book, but it is trash, and the only reason that I finished it was so that I could write this review honestly.

It's a book about Trump and Kiyosaki coming together to write a book that contains the information that they're telling you is in this book.

Not only is this book a whole lot of fluff with very little meat, it struggles to stay on topic.
