Historia
It was a typical evening at a mall outside Portland, Maine. Three teenage friends waited for the movie to start. A boy flirted with the girl selling sunglasses. Mothers and children shopped together, and the manager at the video game store tended to customers. Then the shooters arrived. The chaos and carnage lasted only eight minutes before the killers were taken down. But for those who lived through it, the effects would last forever.

Entertaining All the Way To the End
Revisado: 11-23-21
I am a Nora Robert’s fan of many years. She did not disappoint with this one. The characters came alive with the narrators. I highly recommend this audible book.

Historia
It began on New Year’s Eve. The sickness came on suddenly, and spread quickly. The fear spread even faster. Within weeks, everything people counted on began to fail them. The electrical grid sputtered; law and government collapsed - and more than half of the world’s population was decimated. Where there had been order, there was now chaos. And as the power of science and technology receded, magick rose up in its place.

Historia
In the middle of the night, in a house on a quiet street in suburban Minneapolis, intruders silently murder Luke Ellis' parents and load him into a black SUV. The operation takes less than two minutes. Luke will wake up at The Institute, in a room that looks just like his own, except there's no window. And outside his door are other doors, behind which are other kids with special talents - telekinesis and telepathy - who got to this place the same way Luke did: Kalisha, Nick, George, Iris, and 10-year-old Avery Dixon.

Not Up to Kings Usual Standard
Revisado: 06-15-20
I really enjoyed the narrator. He was expressive, and i never got irritated by his voice while listening. The storyline was really rather slow, and I never felt any great surprises on where I was led while reading. Something that was very disappointing in this book, was when Mr. King decided to throw in his political beliefs. It did nothing for the story line. As a person who has read from a very young age, to escape reality of daily life, I felt rather betrayed by this writer. If I want to read political views, or current daily insanity, I’ll just turn on the idiot box and veg out. I think now I’ll move on to another writer for my reading needs.
