A touching story of true friendship and family love.
Revisado: 06-23-21
This story was good and had many touching moments but it could have been improved by leaving out the explicit sex scenes and the language. I don’t think those were necessary and would improve the story without all the intimate details. It did portray deep friendships, love and family loyalty along with the struggles many families go through. Kristen Hannah is an excellent author and I have read many of her other books which I’ve highly enjoyed.

Historia
Littleport, Maine, has always felt like two separate towns: an ideal vacation enclave for the wealthy, whose summer homes line the coastline, and a simple harbor community for the year-round residents whose livelihoods rely on service to the visitors. Typically, fierce friendships never develop between a local and a summer girl - but that’s just what happens with visitor Avery Greer and Littleport resident Sadie Loman. Each summer for almost a decade, the girls are inseparable - until Sadie is found dead.

Good mystery
Revisado: 08-18-19
The narrator did very well. The story was interesting but I don't like to read books with profanity and vulgarity. It wasn't constant but I prefer to never hear those words in books. It doesn't add anything to the story.
