Good story line but I don’t real like having the f- word used in every sentence of the books I listen to.

I think good authors can write with out having to constantly shock their readers/listeners with f word invectives. It’s a shame because it’s not in the preview that one hears before buying and since I got it on sale I can’t return it. I guess that’s why it was on sale. Clean up your thoughts John and your writing and I might listen to more of your books, but I doubt it after getting burned on this series. It’s so bad I couldn’t even finish it!

3.8 seems too high to me

Unfortunately a good performance can't overcome a weak plot, author seems to try to make up for it with overuse of invectives. I'd skip this one next time. Even B.P.'s great narrative abilities can't make up for it. Reader is left mostly guessing what is going on.

Waste of time, and the ending, well, there isn't one, it just kind of stops. Real glad I only paid $2.95 for it, in fact I'm going to ask for it back!

If you can wade through all the invective use with the f-word you could find a story that's interesting. Not waiting for future books.

Another Clive Classic

As so many of Clives books are, imaginative and slightly beyond realistic, which makes them so much fun to read. Oh, Yes, can't forget adventurous!! I can't wait for the next fearsome Fargo feature :)

I thought by the 10th episode the quality of this excellent and very entertaining fiction would fall off, I was wrong. I'm as thrilled by the 10th as I was by the 1st. The character development is deep, the storyline is gripping. This is as good as I've listened too in a long time.

This is in my top 5 books I've ever listened too. The story draws you in and doesn't release you, which is why I'm so anxious for Day 3 to come out! Good balance of thrilling action, mystery and interesting characters. This is one of those books that is worth a lot more then one credit.

not long enough, the story and performance are so good the only issue is that it was over too soon. Same with the second book - I only wish the third in the series was already available.
