It’s my third time through this series. The writing is wonderful, and so is the work of the narrator. It takes the reader/listener away to another time filled with humanity, danger, adventure and intrigue.

Great characters and dialogue! An absolutely masterful narration with distinctly different voices for each character which makes it easy to keep track of who’s talking and “lose yourself” in the story.
The plot is a basic getting sober story, very Hallmark - but it’s written and told well enough to stay engaged. I teared up a couple of times.
If you’re needing inspiration to stay sober, this is well worth hearing.
