Historia
The first letter arrived the day my husband was buried. It was postmarked from the state penitentiary, and contained a single sentence: I’ll wait forever if I have to. It was signed by Dante, a man I didn’t know. Out of simple curiosity, I wrote back to ask him what exactly he was waiting for. His reply? You.

I very much enjoyed the book! The plot was interesting and the author did a fantastic job of unraveling the story. The spicy level was awesome: Rated R or 18+

Very fun suspension of belief!
Revisado: 11-13-16
Would you listen to Event again? Why?
I would listen to this book again because I have a feeling that this series it is going to be a favorite. I love being able to firmly plant each character in my mind so I can better appreciate how they grow and change throughout their adventures. It was also one of the better written books that I have read that seems to create a realistic scenario in which life beyond our planet my find us.
What other book might you compare Event to and why?
The Sigma series by James Rollins seems to have a lot in common with "Event" as well as several of the "Cotton Malone" books by Dave Barry.
What does Richard Poe bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Richard Poe definitely had a challenge in accurately portraying a wide range of voices and emotions and he did it well enough that I know who was talking even without the author mentioning it.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Actually, this book took me several 30 - 40 minute sessions before ti reached a point that I didn't even want to turn it off at work. However, that being said, once I had immersed myself in the story I found myself not only wondering how the story would play out but also all of the possibilities for the characters in the novels to come.
Any additional comments?
When my husband asked what I was listening to I told him that the book honestly felt like a combination of the X-Files, Jason Bourne and E.T. All together it was a great read and I have already downloaded the second book in the series!

A Very Promising Start to a Great New Series!
Revisado: 11-10-16
If you could sum up The Supernaturals in three words, what would they be?
Nail-biting, Emotional, Thrilling!
What other book might you compare The Supernaturals to and why?
I think that most books in the Stephen King collection would fall into this category of supernatural and suspenseful however, beware, his books are quite a bit more gory. Lillith Saintcrow's Hunter series also delivers a healthy dose of fantasy and other-worldlliness with her character, Jill Kismet, that are very gritty and character driven. Shirley Damsgaard does a fantastic job of authoring very "hard-to-put-down" novels featuring Ophelia Jensen, a supernatural private investigator. Her novels also prove to be a lighter read with a quirky main character and a similarly funny cast of suspects.
Have you listened to any of Stephen R. Thorne’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This is my first book with him as a narrator but I look forward to listing to him in the future.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Time Multiplies the Horror of Summer House. Can anyone survive it's deadly secrets?
Any additional comments?
This is my first time reading a book by David L. Golemon. I will be gleefully searching for another of his books as soon as I am finished writing this review!

Finally, some resolution!
Revisado: 11-06-16
Would you consider the audio edition of The Obsidian Chamber to be better than the print version?
I find audio versions of books to be highly enjoyable when the narration is masterfully done. Listening to a novel is a great way to breeze through monotonous work and still have your imagination working.
What did you like best about this story?
I feel like I have been waiting forever to find out what happened to Pendergast and to see if this was the end of the series. It was such a relief to have the cliff hanger of the last book resolved.
What does Rene Auberjonois bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
His seamless transition between character voices and mannerisms only helps to enhance to imagery of the book.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Can any person truly escape their past? Especially in matter of the mind and heart?
Any additional comments?
I very much enjoyed this book and was delighted to find that the background characters played a much more important role in the development of the plot line. However, I fear that unless the story and characters can make a major change in their self imposed misguided morality the series is headed for a dead end.

Revisado: 07-10-16
I am thoroughly enchanted with both of the Philip Mercer books. His cavalier manner, quick sense of humor and prodigious knowledge is captivating. If you are a fan of Clive Cussler, Steve Berry, Lincoln Child or other adventure novelists, you will be in heaven.

Historia
The Cajun dive in the middle of the godforsaken swamps wasn't exactly Trap Dawkins' idea of fun. But the GhostWalker wasn't there for a good time. He was looking for her. Cayenne. It's where she found her victims. Poor suckers. Then again, who wouldn't want to leave a place like this with a woman like her? It's not Cayenne's fault. Locked up, experimented on, and never knowing kindness, she was bred this way - with a heart of pure venom. Trap understands her.

Absolutely disgusted by this book.
Revisado: 03-14-16
I am so sad that an author as well know and respected as Christine Feehan has started using her fiction to portray verbal and mental abuse as a romantic way to to treat a woman. This behavior is despicable and it rubs me very wrong that it is directed towards a woman who has been mistreated and marginalized her whole life. Time for a reality check Mrs. Feehan, I truly believe that most women or men find it sexy to be sworn at, disparaged, or controlled with guilt or anger. This book was my last try for her and I will no longer be supporting her career as an author. 10 fingers down!!

Totally disgusted at the treatment of the heroine!
Revisado: 10-31-15
I'm sorry, I have been reading Christine Feehan's books for over a decade now and I was physically ill at the relationship between Pepper and Wyatt in this novel. I don't care what his "excuses" were. The way he treated her with jealousy and complete dominance was stomach turning and I can only pray that he is the only "Ghostwalker" in her literary stable that behaves so badly. Completely disappointed in the author, the story, and the money wasted.

Don't listen to the naysayers!
Revisado: 07-13-15
After reading some of the harsher reviews I downloaded this title with some trepidation as I had very much enjoyed the first book. The people that gave this title one star are unashamedly short sighted. How do you build a trilogy around one man without falling into boredom or prolonged war monologues. This book was written perfectly as a bridge between an hero and his final acts of bravery. Don't be so short sighted; this book was extremely enjoyable as a bridge to the third novel.
