Sad start, happy ending
Revisado: 06-25-20
This story was sad about 3/4 of the way for both the hero and the heroine. It was so disheartening I almost put it down. Once it turned around though it was enjoyable for both characters.

Historia
The cold, precise Duke of Montford demands things his way: neatly ordered, in place, and adhering closely to the rules. So he is furious when he learns that the tenant of his ducal estate has been dead for a year, and a stranger has been running the Honeywell business - which, by contract, is now Montford's. When he arrives in Yorkshire to investigate, he discovers that the estate is being run by an unruly, tomboyish woman - and a bluestocking at that!

Delightfully amusing
Revisado: 06-23-20
A delightfully amusing story filled with energetic, clever characters. Maggie Fenton had me laughing and chuckling it was difficult to put down. I hope the next book is as good. Thank you

The Louise Jane Underwood shouted entirely too much. The constant yelling was annoying. Amanda Quick stories usually stimulating but the perpetual shouting was a constant annoyance.

An excellent beginning or ending (depending!on when you read it) of the Mackinzie Clan series. I read it at the end and the ending was a wonderful surprise.
