Historia
Upon arriving at one of the work camps, Teddy Sanders takes in the razor wire, sentry towers, and chain-link fences: He’s back in the same hellhole that he has known for most of his adult life. His travel companion, Ein, a young man who has never experienced Teddy’s world of confinement, finds himself entering dangerous territory, where one wrong move could cost him his life. No longer the kind of man who looks the other way when someone is in trouble, Teddy vows to escape and take Ein with him to freedom.

A bit different take on a virus ending the world

MC seems to lose friends left/right. His mission is to save another friend from FEMA camp medical testing lab. The question is, does is this friend actually a carrier of the morphing deadly flu as the nazi like doctor had said. And is saving him, dooming all others he comes into contact? Next book will tell. Nice read and will get the next in the series.

Historia
With their jobs in the spy world on suspension, all Nate and Jar wanted was a little vacation time out of the city. But not even two days on the road, their plans are hijacked by a teen’s cry. What starts out as helping the kid out of a tricky situation leads Nate and Jar into a dark world of fire and hate, of greed and corruption. As much as they might want to continue on their way, neither would ever do so. Because helping those who aren’t in a position to help themselves is Nate and Jar’s specialty.

Good story but
Revisado: 03-28-23
Author seems obsessed with preaching the Covid narrative, and also tends to ensure he hits points of a political party throughout the story. If you can ignore those type things the story isn’t bad. (He tends to suggest country living is to much land, to many racist, and ignorant people.). For me, I enjoyed this character in the first two books, but he’s losing the thing (ghost of his ex guiding him) that made these stories interesting, so I won’t be getting anymore of this series.

Historia
Lester Winters, in the early stages of Alzheimer’s, submits to an experimental procedure (a pacemaker for his brain) to restore his memory. He first recalls a dead woman who, it is assumed by his wife, is his mother from years past. As weeks go by and Lester’s "pacemaker" does its job, he recalls that it is Caroline who is dead, not his mother. His wife decides that it’d be prudent to hire an attorney to help find the answers. The attorney hires Parker DuPont, who soon discovers there is a lot more to Lester’s memory than just a dead woman by the name of Caroline.

Ok

I can’t tell if it’s the writing or the bad narrator, but this was a hard listen. The story was predictable.
