Great production...acting was good...realistic...intense story...if you enjoy climbing stories you should like it..wiil keep an eye out for more productions this well acted.

Interesting....good details into some incidences...not sure I buy into a unified "deep state"...Though there has been a lot of misinformation and undisclosed activity around ufo incidents the idea of a coherent unkown group controlling the truth this whole time is a little out there for me...maybe different groups at different times with different agendas....anyway it was worth a listen and entertaining..

Really dissapointed...

With so many people liking this series I was hoping for something better. Just wasn't believable. Too many holes in story and an unbelievable plot. I just didn't find many redeeming qualities in this book. Standard stuff...goverment corrupt and our protagonist is a wronged "loose cannon" bent on revenge with a sadistic bent. I think I would've liked it better if the main character had more morals besides loyalty to his ex unit and a better moral compassion.
On the plus side Ray Porter does a great job reading as always.

Interesting Garbage

What a waste of time. Not only mine but that of the investigator. Wasting untold hours coming up with convoluted personal theories based on conjecture and imagination. Ends with no resolution and frustrating that the investigator does not even imagine the possibility that the crime was just a robbery brought on by Emmons son telling someone else of Emmons great wealth and the possibly of something of great worth hidden behind a painting in his house.
Interesting but frustrating in that the investigator became so obsessed in the minutiae of the the victims life instead of chasing down real leads and real people.

The indulgence of a self described "rogue" investigator.

If you enjoy John Corey this book will not disappoint! It is the best one I have listened to. Many surprises and Scott Brick does a great reading.

A good alternative for Jack Reacher fans!

Having exhausted all the Jack Reacher books it was refreshing to find a new protagonist in the same spirit seeking justice. Read by Dick Hill this series may prove a worthy substitute. I especially enjoyed the plot of this novel involving a drug which heightens the mental capacity of the user and how that may play out in real life. I recommend this book for those seeking entertaining escapism.

Loved It.

Really enjoyed this book. I listened along with my Amazon Music account so I was able to access nearly every song mentioned. This music was the sound track of my childhood and teen years. It gave this music a new demension. It opened up my ears to music I had previously just over looked. I will get Kent Hartman's next book "Goodnight L.A." as soon as it is available .
