Had she been carried off in the middle of the night by the Bloodbottler, or any of the other giants - rather than the BFG - she would have soon become breakfast. When Sophie hears that the giants are flush-bunking off to England to swollomp a few nice little chiddlers, she decides she must stop them once and for all. And the BFG is going to help her!

The voices in this audiobook are just perfect. The giant's language is so much fun, and it makes it even better to hear it so expertly delivered. My kids and I love this audiobook!

The perfect solution!

My kids LOVE these books, and I love that they love them so much. I also like the fact that Annie is a spunky, cool female character and that my kids learn some interesting history by listening to them. Unfortunately, I sort of hate reading these aloud because the way they are written is not as captivating for me and it is for my kids. This audiobook series is the perfect solution! I put these on, and the kids happily listen to an entire book from start to finish in one sitting. So glad we found these audiobooks!

Musical historical fiction for kids?! Yes, please! We got this audiobook because our whole family loves the Pop Ups albums, and it did not disappoint. Upon finishing it our kids promptly requested to listen to it again... and again. The story and the performances are fun, interesting, and entertaining, and I love the historical fiction elements. We started it on a long drive, and when we arrived where we were going, we all sat in the car for 15 minutes because we wanted to know what was going to happen next. :) I highly recommend this audiobook for ages 3 - 99!

Loved this book and reading

Absurdly, I decided to listen to this book because my daughter has a Pride and Prejudice themed counting book. I felt like it was such a classic that I had to know the story once I knew all of the names and some silly details from the counting book. I found the book to be very enjoyable in the same way that Downton Abby is drama-wise. I was very interested and invested in all the characters until the very end. The reader was great!
