Historia
Welcome to Three Pines, where the cruelest month is about to deliver on its threat. It's spring in the tiny, forgotten village; buds are on the trees, and the first flowers are struggling through the newly thawed earth. But not everything is meant to return to life.... When some villagers decide to celebrate Easter with a séance at the Old Hadley House, they are hoping to rid the town of its evil - until one of their party dies of fright. Was this a natural death, or was the victim somehow helped along?

Historia
Daphne always loved the way her fiancé Peter told their story. How they met (on a blustery day), fell in love (over an errant hat), and moved back to his lakeside hometown to begin their life together. He really was good at telling it…right up until the moment he realized he was actually in love with his childhood best friend Petra. Which is how Daphne begins her new story.

Historia
A Cage for Magpie by Eli Pope opens on a frigid day in Missouri, introducing us to a grief-stricken young girl named Maggie Mae DuVane, affectionately known as Magpie, as she attends her grandfather’s funeral. Magpie is in shock, struggling to cope with the sudden death of her beloved grandfather, David Duncan DuVane. David, an admired and rising fiction writer, had been descending into darkness before his untimely demise. His final novel, NEVER CAGE A MAGPIE, eerily seemed to foreshadow the events that unfolded, as if he had written it to hint at his tragic end.

Could Not Put It Down
Revisado: 08-26-23
This book was recommended to me by a family member and it was AMAZING! It had adventure, romance, and self contentment. I loved that the character grew throughout the story and I also loved she was not a damsel who was clumsy and couldn’t do anything for herself. She was strong and independent, but had a bleak outlook on herself that transformed throughout the book.
It had just enough romance to satisfy, but wasn’t too much or ridiculously detailed.
To all my ladies of 16 and up, highly recommend. I think some boys may even enjoy this book with all the adventure and fantasy.
If you’re thinking about it, read it.
