A fabulous translation

I love this translation — it makes this story super accessible by keeping the language uncomplicated when possible, but it also doesn’t shy away from difficult topics or the complexity of the characters. The introduction and the translators note are both very illuminating. Also, I love that Wilson wrote in iambic pentameter as a nod to the meter of the original text.

Totally riveting. The stories are amazing, and the presentation of each one is so, so masterful. Totally worth your time; your jaw will drop, and you'll spend each episode on the edge of your seat. Each story is told through the perspective of several people who were involved-- family, friends, neighbors, coaches etc, etc-- so you really feel like you're getting the full breadth of it. A couple of the episodes are pretty heavy, but the stories they tell are so, so important.
It was just so good. I'll definitely be going back for a re-listen, A+++++
