A why choose in a world that doesn't do such things. An Alpha, a sigma and a double alpha, walk into a bar. JK. Our MFC has been exiled by "her pack". Because what pack in a decades long battle with another pack could possibly want someone who could turn the tides and maybe bring the fued to an end? Memphis, the pack alpha, hates our MFC and shows it at every turn. While Conner our wolf healer wants her. A steady soul who is the kind of person who puts everyone before himself. While our MFC just wants a family, a pack and a mate. This steamy and frustrating why choose has twists and turns and moments that have you laughing, feeling sad (don't think anything quiet reaches crying stage) and having you ask wtf. The spicy level on this one is an easy 4/5.

This is a opposites attract/enemies to lovers/forced proximity. Jessica has the worst boss ever and the best nan ever. Her big city living and way of thinking are challenged by Grayson. Grayson who is kind of a mountain man. Chops wood, keeps chickens, helps injured animals and has no one, as he was exiled from his pack. No one, except Jessica's nan. These two butt heads from the start and this continues all through the book. Neither one doing a very good job of communicating but doing a great job at jumping to conclusions and pressing the others buttons. It's a decent book. Although the whole pack thing felt a little unsettled. The spice in this was a 2/5. While there is spice a lot is just referenced to. Which honestly kept it from being too much.

This book was funny, frustrating, spicy and satisfying. Lyla has issues from her past and a step sister who pokes and needles those issues and is a witch. Her parents honestly kind of suck. Colton seems to have been raised in a cave. Very out of touch with the human world he finds himself in and his lack of understanding is hilarious. However, his ability to understand Lyla and her issues, without knowing exactly what they are but picking up on what makes her uncomfortable and wanting to prevent her from being uncomfortable and protect her is heart warming. His naiteve about his pack is a little frustrating. The secondary storyline about the poachers has a satisfying ending as does the step sister finally get out in her place. The spice in this one I would put at a 2/5. There is spice and again it isn't over done but not as spicy as the previous book (for me at least).

A book full of discovery and betrayal. It kind of gives off 7 years series (by Danika Dark). A wolf shifter who is unaware of their heritage until the shift happens. And the man sent to kill her is the one to help her through the change and new world she has found herself in. On top of that stress she has a witch of a boss who stupidly tries to shift blame to her and is hurting those she has unconsciously chosen as part of her pack.

Then we have Jackson. Who struggles with the mission he has been sent on and his feelings for the one person he should want dead. It's a forced proximity/enemies to lovers/fated mate kind of story, with a twist you won't see coming.

There is spice but the entire book isn't spice. It's a 3/5 on the spice scale.

And while their story comes to a conclusion, the author does set you up for the next story. A small cliffhanger you can choose to walk away from or jump off and into the next story.

Chloe and back for another book. This book I liked and disliked. Chloe really needs to see someone about her past and her present. Her forget about it, bury the past, lock it away take really isn't healthy and continues to cause issues for her and Ethan. Ethan, you gotta love the idiot. He obviously needs a therapist of his own to deal with his issues also and to learn to communicate. There was lots of spice but it (honestly) got boring. 4/5 for spice but there really needs to be more to a book, a story than spice and arguments.

This book was good. It gave off Crossfire series vibes. Young, rich CEO and the intern (who has a traumatic past). Her roommate and best friend is quirky and obviously has her own issues, is the kind of friend everyone should have. There is laughter, tears and melt your heart moments. It does end on a bit of a cliffhanger. It also has discussion/flashbacks to rape and bullying. So check your trigger warnings before reading. Is there spice? Yes. 4/5 in that department.

This book is about Margo/Violet and Beck. It's a "fake relationship", billionaire romance. It's not the typical billionaire romance. It is a full stand alone book and doesn't follow the typical equation of these types of books. While it was enjoyable getting to know Margo and Beck, I kept waiting for the drama. Not the drama from a fake relationship that is always there, one or both falling for the other person but the drama of someone almost dying, a stalker, a scandal, something that causes the two main characters to either be torn apart or realize how much they love the other and not saying so, is something they will regret. What I got? The typical couple arguing about driving in a snow storm and both being at fault for their predicament. Then waiting some more for that drama. Which did come but was honestly a little bit of a let down. I would call this an easy read. Not one that you feel you can't put down but also one you want to pick back up and once you realize it's almost over, you're disappointed there isn't another book about the two characters.

There is spice, once it finally starts up, it stays turned up. I'd say a 3/5, as it was good but also, it wasn't as hot as others I have listened to.

I listened on audible and I don't know if the narrator just messed up occasionally with words or if there are typos, like saying head instead of hand or his instead of hers but those things honestly drove me nuts.

It was enjoyable and anyone who enjoys billionaire romances or fake relationships or ex-boyfriends brother books, I would recommend this to. If you don't enjoy at least one of those, I'd recommend passing by this book and checking out one of the other standalones in the trilogy (arranged marriage or sports romance). I didn't overly connect with Margos two friends, so don't currently plan on reading the other two books right now. I will keep this series in mind if I am in the mood for an easy going billionaire romance and struggling to find something or maybe need a reset.

A interesting reimagining of the afterlife, paradise, hell, heaven and everything in between. With two witty main characters who will have you laughing, crying and fanning yourself. There is some SPICE but not till about the half way point and it's good spice. The journey Lily goes on to become her true self, face her fears, her mental problems, and just issues is captivating. The cast of characters will have you in thralled quickly. No cliffhanger.

If you have watched the tiktok videos about these characters there are some changes but nothing jarring and the full cast is not in this book. If you haven't watched them....well, there are great, however, I think this book would have been even more captivating if I hadn't known certain things. Either way though, watching them after the series is complete or before reading however many books we are graces with, the stories for both are awesome.

Note: if you are religious and don't like that being challenged, I wouldn't recommend. If you have triggers around religious abuse, physical or sexual abuse or child abuse/abandonment, tread carefully.

Our favorite pack is at it again, trying to tackle the enormous chore that has been placed upon them. There are twists and turns and so much growth. And oh the betrayal, I didn't see it coming. It doesn't end all neat and tidy, there are unresolved items (at least 3 but only 2 are kinda big, one small lose thread), so if you were hoping this would be the end, I will be the bearer of bad news and say that isn't so. If you were sad thinking this was the end and you would lose your favorite rag tag group, there are still things unresolved so at least another book or 2 could be coming. The spice is spicing in this book, more so than the others. To be completely honest, there was a time or two where I was wishing all the spice would stop so we could get back to the issues at hand. Like come on people, the world is ending and you have time for that much spice? The kids are of course present, it felt like they were less present about half way through though.

Ahhh, yes the 3rd book about the motley crew of supernatural crazies. Not gonna lie, it started out not in a good way. I will warn you it starts 2 months after the second book ends, so be prepared for that. To say lockland had me wanting to turn away from this book, is an understatement. I do however want to know how this all plays out. Lots of changes occur in this book, there is joy, sadness, humor, frustration and confusion. The ending is both sad and confusing and all but guarantees you will want to pick up the next book. Fortunately for me and anyone reading this, it's already available and there is no waiting required. Hope you enjoy.
