Everything Bruce Leonard writes is clever and moves along. I’ve read the hard copy but have also enjoyed the audio tremendously. Biz Lyon is the perfect voice for Hadley Carroll. Looking forward to the next one!

The horrible narration

I couldn’t get past the awful narration. Her voices are decent but not her narrative. Just awful. Would have returned the book immediately (and tried) but audible wouldn’t let me. Wasted credit.

Bruce Leonard is a clever writer with a masters in dialogue. Biz Lyon brings the characters to life in this intriguing who-done-it. Looking forward to the next audio book in the series.

Jack Carr writes with authenticity and expertise. His creativity winds though history and current (and past) technology and events. His stories are believable fiction. Makes you wonder how much is fact. He is learned and it’s evident he reads other masters of the genre. He pays homage to them in every novel. Ray Porter portrays Carr’s characters with ease and believability. I hope this pairing continues for audio books.

Entertaining, humorous (especially the boys) and we’ll written. This is a new author to me and I am definitely looking for more of her books. Justine E. Delivers her usual stellar performance to bring the characters to life.

Lorraine Heath is a master storyteller

Lorraine Heath is a master storyteller and Kate Reading is a master narrator. You’d think after so many books plot lines would become boring or overdone. Hardly. Story lines and characters are fresh and plot twists are unpredictable. Lorraine Heath books are always on my watch list. Keep them coming.

Excellent series with an excellent conclusion. I love how each story, including this final story, met with and entangled with real historical people, places and events.

I stumbled onto this series

…and have been entertained and educated at the same time. I love how the author weaves her romance novels with historical turmoil and real characters; and the author’s historical notes at the end are fabulous. Timothy Campbell delivers the characters, male and female, like no other. When I finish this series, I’ll be looking for others by Emma Prince.

All the key ingredients in this finale to the Rose Canyon series. Corinne Michaels knows how to take the reader on a whirlwind of emotions. I loved the characters, revisiting old characters and meeting some new ones. The audio performances are top notch.

I’m a new fan!

Well developed story, well told. Excellent performance. I’m a new fan and will look for everything from this author. I don’t want to spoil the storyline, but second chances can be so meaningful and delicious. The performance had well defined characters. Some humor, some drama, and varying demonstrations of love. I hope these characters make appearances in future books. I know I will be swept away into the next story regardless.
