Mafia Romance

I really liked this mafia romance. It had everything a good mafia romance needs with some good spice. I loved the daddy/switch dynamic the pair had. I enjoyed how there was no third act break up or other woman drama. Both narrators did a fantastic job. Sometimes the chuckling got old but it was Stephans personality. I also liked the sound effects. Overall it was a great story.

Daddy Powers

First off this book was fantastic! Troy Duran has done it yet again. He is so incredibly talented. He literally brings every character to life. I cannot get enough of him. He brought Daddy Powers to life. Cassandra Robbins always writes fantastic stories and this story is no different. I love the way she builds her worlds and the characters in those worlds. I love how she tied in her Disciples series into this one. You don't have to read the Disciples series to understand but its nice to see some old characters pop up in this story. I love a good age gap slightly taboo book. I won't ruin the story for you but what I will tell you is that this story is steamy and all kinds of hot! I wish I could listen to this story for the first time all over again just to savor how incredible it was the first time.

Archer is everything!

I had been dying for Archers story since his character was introduced several books ago. I was not disappointed in the least. He was such a deep and charismatic character. I knew he had a great story and I was pleasantly surprised to know his back story. I am glad we go to revisit some events from the past and shed more light on what had happened. I loved CeCe! She was a strong female character even though she had been through so much. I loved everything about this story and Nicole Pool did it again. She is a fantastic narrator and she always brings the characters to life. I love how she is always true to the story in her narrations. I cannot give her enough praise. I will listen to any book she narrates. Dannika Dark never disappoints in her stories. She never ceases to amaze me. I cannot wait until the next book in this series.

Fantastic Narration

Let me start off by saying this cast of narrators were fantastic. They all did a great job bringing the characters to life. I absolutely loved the passion and commitment they had to keep the characters true to the story. I knew going into this book that a lot of people have been putting it and Cora down because they didn't like where the story went. I never let that effect my experience. I love all of Cora's books. Was it the best no, I am not saying that. Was it the worst of course not. I have read some pretty crappy books and this doesn't even qualify as a crappy book. Did I hope for more for Nevio maybe just a little but come on he is a Falcone. You cannot expect him to be like his father. Did he have a bad childhood with lots of trauma no but he grew up in a violent world and no one ever tried to curb his violence and he probably didn't get the same discipline or life lessons as the older generation. We can see that in our own children today. They are desensitized to the world around them and to not see those character traits in the next generation of the Falcones is absurd. The hate Nevio got for being a shit father was overly exaggerated. Could he have done better and stepped up more yes I agree; however, if someone dropped a baby off out of nowhere you wouldn't be a great parent from the jump either. That's not to say he couldn't have tried more but if he was perfect from the word go it would be unbelievable at best. Love and a bond takes time for men. They don't carry the baby and if they haven't even known there was a possibility of a baby that's a hard pill to swallow. Nevio was very unfair to Auruoa. He didn't give her the time of day until he made a big mistake and it forced him to see her in a way he never truly thought about. She did deserve more from him and over time she got more from him. I think she was a strong fmc because she took to being a mom even when she didn't have too. It takes a strong woman to love someone unconditionally in the situation she was put in. My only want from this book was more. I wanted to see more of their growth. We know Nevio finally started to get his crap together but I wanted more of that. I want to know that they are going to grow and build their family. I want to know where they are heading in life. I just want more.

Hot and Sexy

Troy Duran has done it again. He is an automatic buy for me as a narrator. He could talk about paint drying and it would be hot as hell. I have read many of J.T.’s books based on recommendations and of course because Troy is one of her main narrators. He absolutely brings her characters to life. He brought the characters to life in only a way he can. This story follows Callum and Emery love story. Emery is a bookstore owner that is on the verge of losing her beloved business. Callum is a business man who is over the top for Emery. The banter between these characters is perfection. Emery is not a push over character and Callum is definitely the over the top possessive type. If you haven’t given this book a try you should.

I loved this novella. It let us get to see how Raven and Christen big day played out. We got to see the happily ever after that we desperately needed. I am so glad she wrapped the series up this way. I felt jipped on the big day in the last book. If you love the series you need to hear the conclusion.

If you are a true fan of the series this is a must read. I loved hearing Edwards side of the story. You learn so many back stories and tid bits that you never realized you wanted or needed to know. Edwards love was not an easy love but a love nonetheless. I hope she finishes the series from his point of view because I want to know it all.
