Good short stories but horrible reader

I real liked most of the short stories, but was disappointed by the male reader who ignored the fact that most of the main characters were female and read their parts as if the main characters were men.

This fantastic book describes the concepts of physics using examples drawn from all kinds of science fiction television programs, computer games, and movies including Doctor Who, Star Trek, Voltron, BioShock, Stranger Things, Star Wars, the Marvel Universe and more. It absolutely made learning about physics a fun experience. This is a book I will listen to again and again.

The title grabbed my attention, I was determined to buy this book after reading the first two sentences of its description, moved it to the top of my listening list, and have listened to it all weekend. Wow, I kept laughing so hard throughout this book that I wish the second book was out because I’d get it immediately.
The story is about a misunderstood Lich (dead mage) trying to better himself in order to save the world, while being foiled and often killed by his nemesis. The satirical elements are so accurate and well done that you have to laugh at them. This definitely a credit worth spending!

Having visited the Haleakala waterfall, I can almost smell the water and feel the spray as I listen to this wonderful recording. The constant flow of the water in this recording of a Hawaiian waterfall is a great white noise to relax or sleep with. I highly recommend all of Gordon Hempton's recordings and believe you will like this one too!
