Historia
Are you ready for self-transformation? Many spiritual teachers promise transformation, but Georges Ivanovitch Gurdjieff delivers. Gurdjieff (1872-1949) was born in Alexandropol on the border of Russia and Turkey. Gurdjieff's teachings contain many concepts that, taken together, are referred to as the Work. The idea behind the Work is that our first birth is our physical body, which is all we need to get through life. The work
Revisado: 03-22-21
I find this book to be an extremely great introduction to Gurdjieff’s concept of the work. This was very eye opening and I’m so grateful I listened to this. I will absolutely be listening to it again. The concepts and ideas stated in this book almost make too much sense, and it’s frightening to my ego to hear them. I would highly recommend this book to anybody on the path of self discovery & development, spirituality, self transformation, and truth. I can only imagine what life could be like if all these principles were valued and APPLIED by the student. I now consider myself to be a student of Gurdjieff, and I’m excited to begin practicing these principles myself. Nobody is going to do the work for you, and this is a good book to present somebody with the tools to begin this work.
