Historia
This insightful 24-lecture audio course offers you a gripping survey of the most important discoveries in psychology. How do we perceive the world around us? What drives us? How can science help us understand our minds and motivations, along with those of others? Answering these essential questions helps you improve your wellbeing, empathize with others, and unravel the mysteries of human behavior. And perhaps no field has advanced our knowledge of these topics as much as psychology.

Historia
Our gut is almost as important to us as our brain, yet we know very little about how it works. Gut: The Inside Story is an entertaining, informative tour of the digestive system from the moment we raise a tasty morsel to our lips until the moment our body surrenders the remnants to the toilet bowl. No topic is too lowly for the author's wonder and admiration, from the careful choreography of breaking wind to the precise internal communication required for a cleansing vomit.

Should be required reading. Well worth your time.

This book about the digestive system is packed with important medical research and common sense information. There is so much misinformation in our plastic packaged, fastfood, microwaved society. Giulia Enders offers us expert and important information to understand our digestive systems' major role in physical, mental and emotional health. This is a surprisingly enjoyable book considering the subject matter. It is extremely well written and extremely well narrated. I highly recommend this book for anyone with a digestive tract.
