Historia
It's obvious that Cletus Graeme - limping, mild-mannered scholarly - doesn't belong on a battle field, but instead at a desk working on his fourth book on battle strategy and tactics. But Bakhalla has more battlefields than libraries, and Graeme sees his small force of Dorsai - soldiers of fortune - as the perfect opportunity to test his theories. But if his theories or his belief in the Dorsai lead him astray, he's a dead man.

Very well written and unique

Fun story, u could see this being a real story. With the main character being augmented in some way. Higher IQ then average,

Historia
At long last, Earth has a handful of starships. Surrounded by Rebel Kher, Imperials, and the mysterious Nomads, humanity dares to assert our right to independence. The interstellar community reacts harshly. In the eyes of our neighbors, we’re upstarts, dangerous beings who don’t know our place. For the Kher, freedom can only be won through battle. War fleets arrive to instruct us, and Captain Leo Blake is again sent out to voyage among hostile stars.

4hrs too long - but decent story/series framework.
Revisado: 05-15-22
Worst of series stuffed with extra words and details to string out. Over focused on one character. Where to I get my time back? Also grating by amplifying incorrect anthropological history against current dna evidence. Unfair since fiction but another low IQ aspect of story details. Base story concept could have been great and maybe blown out by editors and made for audible push of long duration books and sixth grade edu rails.

New Author? Not the same as the other OrphanX's
Revisado: 04-01-22
Is this a new author?? Ridiculous long and boring descriptions of anything... The storyline is about 10% of the content and doesn't develop. Too much secondary character development as well. I had to copy: J J Dill Review Nailed it - "I have listened to and enjoyed all of the Orphan X books. This one was the least interesting. Very few “cool X things.” Too many long and boring descriptions of surroundings and feelings. Not as good as the other books." This book is wasted time, we have too much amazing content on reality to be distracted by weak fiction. - D
