for a long time we have assumed that our individual rights are protected. this book calls clear attention to the need for ordinary people to take responsibility for themselves as well as for our society. technical advances have far outstripped our social norms and we must pay close attention.

starts strong and goes downhill

early chapters talk about cellular processes that relate to autophagy. then it takes an abrupt turn into ketosis diet rambling, a bunch of recipes and an extremely tedious section talking about every combination of hours that add to 24. seriously, I was hoping for actual references to peer reviewed research describing phases of autophagy including neurological conditions as well as musculoskeletal issues. what I found was "do what feels good for you". very disappointed.
