This book meant everything to me. Nancy is not only an exceptionally gifted writer, she is also a wise spiritual teacher. The vulnerability with with she shared her life story, sprinkled with nuggets of wisdom to offer (as she prods the reader to compare and examine their own life to glean the lessons from their struggles) makes this book not only entertaining, humorous, heart-wrenching, and poignant as a stand-alone memoire, but also a gift and a guide to anyone on a healing journey in this lifetime.
