Historia
Sir Gawain, First Knight of the Realm, is tasked by his older sister the Queen to travel to the edges of their kingdom, where a beast is flaming villagers and has the locals ready to form a mob and hunt it down themselves. His mission is to find the dragon, stop the violence, and do what he needs to maintain the peace. His journey puts him in the heart of a confrontation with the dragon, but instead of saving the villagers, it is the dragon that needs rescuing. Zephyr, a fire dragon and an escaped slave, needs protection, time to heal, and a chance at a life full of hope.

Good but short
Revisado: 04-25-25
I enjoyed this little tale about a dragon and his knight. Sweet and entertaining. Both MCs with a heart of gold. I usually don’t love Joel’s narration, mostly his accents and tones are a little grating, but he was seriously perfect for Zephyr’s voice this time around. He did a wonderful job bringing the young dragon to life.

A nightmarish danger threatens from the other side of reality. . . . Armed with only a frying pan and her common sense, young witch-to-be Tiffany Aching must defend her home against the monsters of Fairyland. Luckily she has some very unusual help: the local Nac Mac Feegle—aka the Wee Free Men—a clan of fierce, sheep-stealing, sword-wielding, six-inch-high blue men.

I’m so impressed with the voice actors. They were so wonderfully perfect and really brought this book to vivid, colorful life. Accents were superb, tone, inflection, everything was just great. It’s actually my first time “reading“ this book, believe it or not. I’m super glad I finally did and am now a Terry Pratchet fan. Can’t believe it took me so long.

Historia
As the rightful heir to the Maryno family dynasty, Toni grew up with clear expectations of who he was supposed to be, and more importantly, who he wasn't. Growing up a constant disappointment isn't a childhood experience he recommends, but he's come a long way from the little boy who could never measure up to his family's toxic standards. At twenty-nine, he's finally proud of the man he's built himself into, and while the routine of his life is simple and, sure, sometimes lonely, he's content. Or so he thought.

I loved, loved Tony and Jude’s romance. Surprised I liked this book even more than the first story, since I liked Leel and Oliver so much. A good amount of spice and love, both in this one. Such an enjoyable group to keep reading about.

Historia
It's not easy being the only human at the Community of Species Government - and especially not when you're the rescue case. Two years ago, I was planning to go to college, have a wild time, then settle into a normal life. Instead, I was kidnapped, spent months being a test subject, was in hiding for nearly a year, and then found out that my whole existence is a science experiment conducted by the bad guys. It's definitely time to reassess.

This one is my fav so far. I much prefer the dual pov, too - it sucks not knowing what the other MC is thinking and feeling all the time. Fun story arc.

Historia
It's been two weeks since the SOS Hotel opened, and everything is going great... Apart from the detective who's dead set on accusing Zee of murder, the leaking pipes, a psycho sorcerer stalker, a shadowbeast in the attic, and... did I mention Lord Reynard has a wife? Yeah, he didn't mention it either. I could have done with knowing that before, you know, kinda falling for the suave, sexy Vampire Daddy. He also neglected to mention that his wife wants my head on a plate. Literally. This is not the love triangle I was expecting.

Fortunately, my BFF Max has an in with a town he assures me can keep me safe. As a former foster kid, I'm pretty resilient, but this situation is messing with my sleep, and I'm on deadline for my next book!

Omg I loved this second book of the series even more than the first, the Orc and the Manny. Vash and Ryder are so charmingly adorable together. Can’t get enough. So, I guess Hal’s next, right?

Historia
I have a soul-destroying corporate job, I iron my underpants, and I was unceremoniously dumped for an influencer hippie a few years ago. Every day feels the same, and I don't know how much longer I can cope before I do something unhinged like rip off my shirt in the middle of my co-worker's office birthday party and smear lemon cake all over my chest. Then, a case of mistaken identity suddenly lands me in the middle of a covert professional wrestling league, which is apparently being run in the basement of my office building. Weird. Even weirder are the wrestlers.

I have few friends and fewer allies. What I do have on the island of Everland is a lot of people who want me gone. So when the Crocodile and Captain Hook reappear in my life, I am in no mood. And worse, they’re unknowingly endangering themselves by asking for me by a name I long considered dead. Now, not only do I have to save myself, I have to save the two men who I swore I would murder with my bare hands if I ever set eyes on them again considering they abandoned me.

Love the storyline
Revisado: 03-08-25
I love the Viscous Lost Boys series and this was a superb spinoff story. But I was soooo disappointed at how rushed this book felt. Especially the ending. I mean, I think Nikki’s writing is always a little rushed, but this story would have been so much better if she wldve taken her time at least some of the time and went into more detail. Like character development and what they’re feeling and just drawing things out a bit more.Left a lot to be desired, but I do love the characters and storyline immensely so still gave it a 5 overall. PLEASE take some more time with the storylines. 🙏🏼

Look, I'm an extremely busy, handsome, and charming guy. I am a paragon of physical perfection. I run a wildly successful architecture firm, and I take care of my family. I don't have time to organize a tenth-anniversary party for my business, so it just makes sense to hire someone else to do the work. Except as soon as I see my new event planner, Anita Chaudhary, with her dark eyes, no-nonsense attitude, and sensible shoes, I decide that maybe I should be involved in the process. Just, you know, for the sake of being thorough. But mainly so I can keep butting heads with her.
