Historia
This week, Chris and special guest (and film critic) Dan Murrell get to the choppa! with a deep dive of 1987's Predator. They'll be braving snakes (venomous and Hollywood), fire ants, scorpions and traveler's diarrhea as they explore this unlikely sci-fi action classic's arduous production. Learn how Arnold hooked the crew on cigars, bested Jesse Ventura's biceps, and why Shane Black was killed first. Plus, why you may not want to attempt heat vision in 100-degree weather...See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#...

Great episode about a classic 80's movie
Revisado: 03-25-25
Loved listening to "movie guru", Dan Murrell, give his take with Chris on this 80's action classic that led the way for many Sci-Fi movies. Although most fans know the details of the making of "Predator," it was still an educational poscast about the production issues on the movie. Great commentary as always! One of the better "movie podcasts" among the multitude created these days.

Great Kat & Bones Follow Up
Revisado: 02-23-24
I always wanted a follow up story of Kat's Daughter, and her integration into their lives; especially since the laws against Vampire Magic & Mixed-Species individuals was reversed by the Vampire Council.
Kat & Bones no longer have to live in hiding to keep their little girl alive; and can resume their normal escapades with their crew.
I love the stories that involve all the characters from previous works. And while I loved the series focusing on Ian & Veritas, I really wish Ms. Frost would reconsider continuing the "Kat & Bones" series with the addition of their daughter; and the seeing the former government-created, child assassin become a "mostly normal" kid, while Kat & Bones learn how to parent their special kiddo.
Anyway... loved seeing Kat & her BFF having some girl time. Highly recommend if you're a Kat & Bones fan. :-)

Narrator Can't Do an Accent!!
Revisado: 03-26-19
Jennifer Ashley's shifter stories are great. I read the first 10 books years ago, and was excited to find them on Audible. I really enjoyed the first book, and I thought the narrator was fantastic.
I just wish she hadn't changed narrator's after the first book, "Pride Mates." Cris Dukehart's Irish accents make me cringe, and now she's decimated the Latin accent. Why this woman was allowed to narrate another dozen books is beyond me. especially since so many listeners have complained about her narration. Was Jennifer Ashley just not listening, or did she just not care? Maybe she didn't have any control over who the Publishers chose, but listening to this cartoon is Lucky Charms Irish accent every time she others align truly makes me nuts.
