Historia
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Disappointing story.
Revisado: 12-01-17
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
I enjoyed the book, especially Rosario Dawson's narration. I didn't feel like Jazz had that elusive quality that makes you root for a character despite their flaws (I call it the Scarlett O'Hara factor.) A lot of unnecessary swearing and references to promiscuity that I felt detracted from the book. The story was interesting, but not spellbinding. I would recommend it to friends who love this genre, but I don't think it would appeal to a wider audience.
Has Artemis turned you off from other books in this genre?
I won't rush to choose another Science Ficton/Space Adventure book in the near future.
Have you listened to any of Rosario Dawson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have not - but I will!
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
Maybe.

Historia
Former Broadway dancer and current agoraphobic Billy Shine has not set foot outside his apartment in almost a decade. He has glimpsed his neighbors--beautiful manicurist Rayleen, lonely old Ms. Hinman, bigoted and angry Mr. Lafferty, kind-hearted Felipe, and nine-year-old Grace and her former addict mother, Eileen. But most of them have never seen Billy. Not until Grace begins to sit outside on the building's front stoop for hours every day, inches from Billy's patio.

What did you love best about Don't Let Me Go?
I liked the characters, and their quirkiness. They made me laugh out loud, and want to cry sometimes too. Grace's perceptions and thoughts were really insightful. I was hesitant going in, but ended up really loving this book. Highly recommend.

This is such a great story to listen to! The narrator is just amaZing. Unlike some, her inflections are spot on. The story is a perfect mix of humor and seriousness. I dare you not to laugh out loud AND cry at times.
An absolute must listen!!

Historia
While my beau, Darcy, is off on a mysterious mission, I am once again caught between my high birth and empty purse. I am therefore relieved to receive a new assignment from the queen - especially one that includes lodging. The king's youngest son, George, is to wed Princess Marina of Greece, and I shall be her companion at the supposedly haunted Kensington Palace. My duties are simple: help Marina acclimate to English life, show her the best of London, and, above all, dispel any rumors about George's libertine history.

Historia
Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he's alive - and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. Chances are, though, he won't have time to starve to death. The damaged machinery, unforgiving environment, or plainold "human error" are much more likely to kill him first.

I Love this series!
Revisado: 04-26-15
What did you love best about Naughty in Nice?
I particularly enjoy the reader's ability to capture the characters.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
The stories are a little formulaic, but always enjoyable. I wouldn't have changed anything!
What does Katherine Kellgren bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Her voices for the characters are great. She also reads with 'spot on' inflection. I love her.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Here she goes again....

I'm not even sure why I listened to the whole book, except that i kept hoping it would get better. The story was depressing, the descriptions went on and on, and the narrator was monotonous.

Thouroughly enjoyable!
Revisado: 12-05-13
Would you listen to The Secret Keeper again? Why?
I really enjoyed this book, even thought it jumped between narrators and time periods. It was a little hard to keep track of at first, but Kate Morton does an excellent job of weaving the story together from the various points of view. I'm sure there were details I missed the first time.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Secret Keeper?
That would be giving away too much!
What about Caroline Lee’s performance did you like?
I loved listening to Caroline Lee. I enjoyed her accent.
