Haywood is a freak!

Book 13 was a struggle to finish but this book was much better! There was character development (which the last book lacked greatly) and the story is finally getting to a point (which last one just dragged). No problems finishing this one!
Side note... There were a few spots at the end (the intense scenes) where Joe mixed up the character voices. Not criticizing. Just an observation. Didn't really care because thing were getting good and intense... I just threw me off guard.

Great book! (but)

Fantastic book! The performance of the reader was fantastic too! Wished there was more of a conclusion at the end of the book though. There was SO much climax getting there and to end that way. Good cliffhanger but wished there was something there. (update: there is a second book! Yay!)

I struggled to finish this book. The storyline and character development was lacking for me. I was just happy for it to be over with. However, Joe's performance is so much better!!! Almost forgot it was a new guy.

I've never been so spooked listening to an audio book. Those zombies saying Howie's name thought...😨😱 I was so wrapped up in the story that I was genuinely terrifed when the zombie spoke, especally over the radio.
