Enjoyable mystery

Besides some minor pacing issues in the middle, this was enjoyable. The narrator did a good job with the accents and differentiating the characters voices. This is not fast pace, so settle in for a slow rainy small town mystery. The author does a good job of introducing all the characters so you have a good background as you figure out who committed the crime.

Mara is thoughtful and concise in her criticism and love of these series. I enjoyed revisiting these books as the episodes came out and it made me want to continue both.

Great addition to the series

This moves the overall story along so well, and as with all of this series, leaves you wanting the next installment NOW! The cliffhanger is for the arc of the series, this particular story arc ends in a gratifying manner.
The voice actor was good, though spoke a bit to slow for my taste so I just sped up the speed a little bit and it was perfect.
Can’t wait for the next one!
