Historia
Split between time and two worlds, Zaknafein had always been conflicted. That inner turmoil was magnified by his inferior position as a male dark elf in the matriarchal drow society. Only his status as one of the greatest warriors - as well as his friendship with the mercenary Jarlaxle - kept him sane. When he finally perished, he was content knowing he left behind a legacy as substantial as his son, Drizzt. Except...someone isn’t ready for Zaknafein to be dead. And now he’s back, hundreds of years later, in a world he doesn’t recognize.

In Volume One of the Crimson Shadow series, young Luthien Bedwyr rebelled against the vicious rule of Wizard-King Greensparrow and his cruel wizard-lords. In Volume Two, he made use of a magical cape that renders its wearer invisible---except for a lingering crimson silhouette.
Now, the evil Greensparrow is back - and with a vengeance. Using dark, hideous magic, Greensparrow has taken the form of a massive dragon - a virtually unstoppable force that only Luthien can defeat.

Revisado: 07-25-17
enjoyed the book but you could have had Siri or Cortana narrated this better. Seriously, I'm sorry Nicole, please stop while you're ahead. You annoyed me even more saying Bhaal wrong. it's not Bu-haul. It's "Baul".

Good story but average narration
Revisado: 03-28-17
Having been an avid fan of the Baldur's Gate games then listening to this story I went in with the expectation that the story would not match the game. However, it was enjoyable I still couldn't help to think this was a world that Mr Athans didn't quite understand or couldn't picture very well. Mr Cooper constantly fumbled words and names throughout the book. Names he would say correct multiple times then incorrectly a chapter or two later. Katana, Abdel, Jaheira, Sarevok to name just a few but overall he did a good job with the voice complexion for the main characters.

Historia
Something akin to peace has come to the Underdark. The demon hordes have receded, and now the matron mothers argue over the fate of Drizzt Do'Urden. Even so, it becomes clear to one matriarch after another that while the renegade drow may come and go, Menzoberranzan, the City of Spiders, will crawl forever on. And so Drizzt is free to return to his home on the surface once again. Scores are settled as lives are cut short, yet other lives move on. For the lone drow, there is only a single final quest: a search for peace, for family, for home.

Historia
In the 2nd book of the multi-author Sundering series launched by New York Times best-selling author R.A. Salvatore, the shadow legacy of Erevis Cale lives on even as his old foe Mephistopheles seeks to stamp it out at any cost. Cale’s son Vasen - unmoored in time by the god Mask - has thus far been shielded from the archdevil’s dark schemes, alone among the servants of the Lord of Light who have raised him since birth. Living in a remote abbey nestled among the Thunder Peaks of Sembia, Vasen is haunted by dreams of his father, trapped in the frozen hell of Cania.
