Historia
Weston Belmont. The man is a shameless flirt. He oozes confidence and masculinity in a way that’s downright distracting. And in bed? He’s addictive. Everything with him is wild and impulsive and I’m desperate to regain some control. But no one has supported me like West does. And no one has ever made me feel as loved as he does either. So, while my brain says settling down with a small-town horse trainer is impossible… my heart says I’m right where I belong.

A Beautiful Story!
Revisado: 01-04-25
This gave me all the feels! Probably one of the best stories I’ve listened to in a long time. I had already fallen in love with the characters from the first book, but you throw West’s kids and Skylar (the development of this character… wow)…. Mind blowing!!

Historia
The Larkin family isn't just lucky - they persevere. At least that's what Violet and her younger brother, Sam, were always told. When the Lyric sank off the coast of Maine, their great-great-great grandmother didn't drown like the rest of the passengers. No, Fidelia swam to shore, fell in love, and founded Lyric, Maine. One beautiful summer day, brilliant, sensitive Sam attempts to take his own life. Shipped back to Lyric while Sam is in treatment and desperate to make amends, Violet embarks on a wildly ambitious mission: locate the Lyric.

Phenomenal Performance for an Amazing Story
Revisado: 06-25-23
This book would not have been the same if I had just read it. Tavia Gilbert brought each character to life. I could feel the raw emotion in every word, song, thought, phrase, banter… everything! Amazing story, but even better with her narration!

Historia
In Garner County, girls are told they have the power to lure grown men from their beds, to drive women mad with jealousy. That’s why they’re banished for their 16th year, to release their magic into the wild so they can return purified and ready for marriage. But not all of them will make it home alive. Sixteen-year-old Tierney James dreams of a better life - a society that doesn’t pit friend against friend or woman against woman, but as her own grace year draws near, she quickly realizes that it’s not just the brutal elements they must fear.

My New Favorite Book!
Revisado: 06-21-20
Just wow!! This book is phenomenal!! I absolutely love it and the interview with the author at the end had me in tears! I’m so glad to hear that this story is going to film. From the very beginning, I knew it would be an amazing movie!! I had recently read Kim Liggett’s The Unfortunates and was amazed at that book. This one kept popping up and I finally decided to read it not knowing that it was the same author. I’m just so amazed at this beautiful story!
